Can I send you the mons which I think would help you in early game , if you are intersted , or would you like to continue by yourself…I had each one of them , and being a full f2p player I can assure they are more or less good

5)megamammut , it’s better than thorhoof to be honest , which doesn’t work in most cases except for acceration …your choice…

drageckon : beautiful for a superepics! Excellent synergy with poison mons…

rosempress: maybe slow but can be used in end game instead of glitchy(same as thorhoof) with other sleep mons . Can be paired with shinobidragon in mid game.
8)volcavenus: again good with fire and poison types . Goes well with gecko…
9)gravewolf: retribution with death revenge and get rid of token lock…with backstab.
10) dreadmoth: good…
Legendary: 1) appolorexus or nightrider …

oakthulhu: decent.
4)geoscrop.
5)spectrophin: high damage.

These are some of the mons which I think are enough to be good for a beginner…rest is luck…

If I capture this monster on the island 9 times, can it receive a +9 bonus, or does it only appear on the island if you don’t already have it? I’d also like to know if the 2-star monsters I’ve captured on the islands can receive a +9 bonus.

I’m not sure if it’s available in the islands.
Either is no. You can only have electric cheetah 9+ through potions. And fir two stars neither nor.

How did yall capture sunboy and other super epics from the islands. Mine just explodes even though it’s health is below 100
I have seen it again in one of the islands. But I don’t think it adds as bonus though. I tried it on one of the starter monster but didnot work
I’m gonna just listen some epic rarity mons and lower star mons for a beginner who visits this thread.
For poison main game teams:

apophisking: he’s a good monster with decent attack for an epic which can be excellent with earth types …

dahargaz: another good poison one , but I would not prefer to use it with apo because he needs earth element mons rather than shadow element. We can use him in the end game to cancel hg on mons.

seaviper: use with dahargaz.

volcagarmr: good with other fire elements like geoscrop, lavaronix , crimseas and so on.
Now , if want stun, i will not suggest an all stun team cause most of them have utterly horrible skills to use except for the stun skills ,so one or two in your team is ok:
1.spiderix: shitty moves , just use for enemy team disruption and to help mons with skills like survivor or 400s mega bomb and death sentence and goes well with sleep lock…
2.brakioquake: again decent than the others . For end game. And stun revenge.
I’m not mentioning the other stun mons as almost all of them have same skills as far as I have those except for for those with stun burst , and stun bomb.Mons for end game:
- brakioquake.
2)1hp stagbrute.
3)galveboss.
4)glaciarmane.
5)novatusk( good with turn giver or acceleration)
5)any sleep or disrupter mon. - you can use poison endgame , but I would reject it…
Some suggestions for newcomers: I would suggest , mons that have link skill as their main attack skill , like link double poison water , link survivor , link megabomb, or any other link move mons should be avoided if you don’t have atleast 2 other mons of the same type . It’s utterly useless. They must be ue to unlock full potential otherwise you’ll waste your tt…
Eg: 160tu poison eater( 1 enemy)
160tu link double poison eater( same tu, but 2 enemies, so 1 mon damaged in 80 s!).
Most aggresive stun mons like novatusk, brakioquake( to some extent) , glaciermane , galvboss etc…should be used with purifiers( atleast one) many a times , poison mons , and passives like auto poison disable hold ground which doesn’t let them use their passive and desparate strike , leaving them useless , and low level threats. Now , the question arises," why, can’t I use protectors and stun absorbers?" It’s because of you use protectors , your mons won’t get to hg in the time you require them , so it’ll be useless for the protectors to simply die and disturbing your strategy .
In the early game , don’t use too defensive teams as it may blunt your attacks , nor use too attacking team as it may lower your defence. Include disrupters , and 1 or two protectors and the rest high level attackers , and balanced mons with biased skills…
My last advice: before you start , the offline story , reach atleast level 60 hero rank, it’ll make it lot easier to cover the story as you will be able to tank most of the teams in the early game as I had done. However if you want a certain level of difficulty there are some pretty average mons out there on certain islands which can help you and you can enjoy the offline story more…

Megamummat decimates the boss, especially if you have give turn
That’s my point . I had him around 2020! He’s decent than most …very helpful for beginners as compared to thorhoof!

How do you defeat posion teams? the ones with full poison stings and stuff, I cant even protect my prismurk and the night rider(using polymerisation) from their attacks? Its just one shot kill.
Use purify , stun or mons with skills like detox blast , detox bite or simply or use toxic killer mons…
