Believe me the last 3 days I tested like 10 differents FL , and I’m struggling to find any good one , in like 1/5 I’m being counted hard, trying different combinations between high speed , mid , low speed , all this to say I’m struggling for my self so to bring a solution for the whole game it will be hard , but if I remember someone suggested something interesting (addition of the speed of your 4 monsters in FL must not be higher than a certain amount )

thr will be high speed mons then there will be another high speed mons for controlling tht speed which will again be considered as fast mons spam.
Ig the solution to it is just releasing the second category of mons to be not fast sweepers ,for ex arbustodon recently is wht we need to balance out .
Anyway just a counter question how exactly do u plan to stop the fast tanky sweepers with ap when there will be no versatile fast mons to deal with APs .
because it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
Its just a loop at this point ,
ap will promote fast sweepers with ap , the counter will be fast ap killers and the one that top players would love to use shld be reliable and not stay as DW when u don;t face aps.
same with fast sweepers , the counter to fast mons will again be a fast mons tht shld satisfy the condition of the top players to actually get sales nd used.
squash monster speeds a little. so the slowest become faster and fastest become slower while those at 50 speed stay the same.
this would still have fast monsters but the variety of counters should increase as monsters with 80ish speed might he able to outspeed one with 90ish speed occasionally with pots.

Hopefully AP can take the hit to allow for mid speed monsters to get a turn

hmm. bad thought. what about scaling monster damage proportionally to speed. so uncharged fast monsters do less damage than uncharged slow ones on the first turn.
