Which monster do you want to see Buffed 🄳

I am deleting this game after anniversary and so many players whom I know. The reason is that u guys are adding overpowered mythic we can no longer compete. Alice, vivinye, tengoku, albion, astra etc. I am very frustrated with this. Playing this long and still don’t have any advantage against newbie who have few new awaken. And u guys in the name of balance or update do nothing just buff the new mythic. Like astra come and never dies, night/viv then stun 140 sec and gg. They have no counter at all. The game is p2w no strategy at all . Hope to see a good balance patch this week otherwise I have to consider after anni whether to play or not cause neo has been a part of my life.

Tq but ik this is satire.Let’s see till anniversary, if they do same thing there would be no reason to grind again and again, then NXT year few mythic releases and your team will be outdated, can’t compete as f2p.I am f2p this willnot affect even if I leave, but if this continue many will leave again.

Why wait until anniversary when you could quit now?

Neo is a P2W game, always has been and always will. If you expected anything else, then you were wrong. Then again F2P players have proved that they can place high in PvP so maybe it’s a skill issue?

And finally, devs have lately increased event rewards quite substantially. It’s never been easier to grind gems as a F2P. Where’s the gratefulness? In all honesty it’s just better if you guys quit since your attitude is all wrong.

Right can u give example of any f2p who is competitive? Nobody is near me rn since arajuna already left.

This bond is permanent:
Exu,coltraz,gmagic

And now you’re in there too :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

First define ā€œcompetitiveā€? If you’re top 50 then you’re already very competitive.

I don’t follow who’s F2P or not, but historically many F2P players have managed to score high ranks. Some of them recently too.

Also idk what kind of competitiveness you’re after, but if you want to compete for the number 1 spot, you need skill and a lot of time. Then most importantly you need to have access to the newest, strongest monsters and opening your wallet is the most consistent way of hatching them. That’s a cold hard fact.

Also, even Mr X who you admire so much is P2W. How do you feel about that?

Let’s remove competitive part. Few myths are completely broken. The simple example is alice: why her stun is 140 sec, stun user most of the time guarantee to stun and nowadays just put nightangle or viv or even leira it’s 100% guaranteed. And another astra comes 4 time i.e 1 mythic equivalent 4. Same with tengoku, it not that different to loop around. Albion killing machine. Pandora another broken mons . Most of these are latest release. And what we old player have is mostly old mythic, compared to new one they are not even 1/5 of new one except few which got recently buff.
So my question is how can we compete if the powercreep is significantly increasing! They can balance these broken characters like they did with that (i forgot name but that moon girl with cresent , gibbous etc.)

Lol he is f2p.He always say that.

You already know the answer to this part. I told you as well. And you keep ignoring reason when people present it before your face (as usual) so there’s no point in discussing with you. It’s the same as before and you haven’t changed at all.

 (but honestly I don’t know if that was sarcasm or not, for your sake I hope it was)

It’s no less true that there are many monsters that have become obsolete, and I think some deserve a touch-up. But this same thing would also apply to older legendaries. This makes the highest-ranking teams a carbon copy of each other. What’s needed is variety to make the game truly strategic and not the spam it is now. This could be achieved by reviving old monsters or releasing new legendaries that are capable of competing against the mythics (this is with F2P players in mind). It’s no less true that they’re giving away quite a few gems at events, but a F2P player has to save up and wait a long time to have an awakened mythical creature.

Isn’t this something that they have done regularly? Doomgoo, Calamitas, Keiser, Dameule… There’s some crazy recency bias going on here.

And F2P having to save up and waiting a long time is normal, why would anyone pay for gems if one could awaken mythics easily with ā€œearnedā€ gems?

This won’t be solved by mass buffs to every old monster. Unfortunately, roaring entrance mythics are way too good right now or mythics with unique/really high value entrance effects.

If anything buffs to old monsters would bring as much variety as Coltraz’s ā€œuniqueā€ robotic union team (cool FL but he is forced to play 10 other strong entrance/high value entrance mythics to compete in the top), you will create maybe a unique FL but you will still need the Vivs and ALYCEs.

It’s true, after all, this game is a pay-to-go game, and you see these things all the time, but that’s not the point I’m trying to make. It’s about the variety of synergies and strategies; after all, this is a strategy game.

But it wouldn’t be the same. Because with more variety even if my monsters are ā€œworseā€ than yours if I have a good tactic I can beat you. And yes, I know the same can be applied to the current meta, but like I said, almost all the tops are almost a copy and paste. I’m not saying that improving the older monsters will magically fix everything, but it would be a change, after all it’s not like they would remake them and they would be the most broken in the game, it would simply make them attractive again and people would use them again.

I mean there will always be a meta. You can build unorthodox strategies and beat top players in one match but they’ll win the next nine. That’s how it goes. The top players will look for teams that win in most situations. I don’t think there is a way to balance a game like Neo like you suggest. The meta keeps evolving when new monsters are released and sometimes they make great new combos with older monsters and ā€œreviveā€ them.

It’s true, but I say this because I consider the game to be more… ā€œfunā€, after all that’s what we all play for, it’s a hobby. I’m not saying that the game is that bad as it is now, otherwise I wouldn’t even be playing, but there are always things that can be improved. For example, I don’t mind being top 1 or 40k if the game still seems fun to me. I understand that losing can be frustrating, but if you just play for pure fun it becomes much more bearable. Although I think this is something that doesn’t fit in a competitive pvp, but at least that’s how I take it.

I think you can’t expect to have fun when going for top results. It’s going to get sweaty at some point.

But I understand the frustration of non spenders if they try to compete for the number 1 spot. Losing often isn’t fun and that’s what often happens when you go against top players who are mostly spenders. That’s why my advice is to not even try / not take PvP placements seriously and play Neo for fun. People who are aiming to become the best without spending should do that in another game that’s more fair and values skill above funds.
