Canni does not need a nerf.
At the most, cap the amount of times goldoid can revive itself.
I do also understand why players suggest that the flame eater effect shouldn’t work if it’s not used on fire, as I mentioned this to @MementoMori or @DRACARYS before.
But they’re not exactly game breaking. Canni has so many counters and you don’t need to hard counter it to win.

The thing about Cani is how powerful underdog is in the lower bracket (under HR 100). You underdog Brakitorus and Viridizardon and they will destroy 8 monsters without the other player being able to do anything. Then just build a safe end game and you can’t lose. I bet in the lower bracket this kind of team could achieve a winrate of over 90% . I feel this is the real issue. Over HR 100 Cani is OK because people have the tools to counter him.

It’s really not hard to build. We don’t even need to use it to know that. Putting Stag there does wonders. 4th monster can be a give turn monster or even something that canabalizes to bring in the give turn Rockoid in 5th to give the +200 TU AOE’s a second wave of AOE spam. There are lots of options.
Having Bloom in the FL doesn’t mean the team is AP spam. If somebody can make APspam work after the massive nerfs I would say that it requires more skill in team building then Cani AOE spam. AOE spam is not a difficult strategy at all. Setting up the rest of your team to support your FL is fairly normal team building. What’s more, it isn’t hard to do. Especially if you got strong comeback monsters like Malewing, Sobeking, Sleep Entrance and the broken Deathgazer. .
You Cani users really need to stop making it out that Making Cani work is something brilliant. Honestly… It’s not.

People have asked for Cani to be nerfed for a while. Cani ruins the lower tier PvP. @Laxus Opened a thread about this a very long time ago. It wasn’t about the double counter strike issue either.
cani aoe’s cost is too low.the cost of cani may be only 37 (14 + 7 + 8 + 8).you can only spend 37-42 cost then you can get a top frontline. and I usually should spend more than 50 cost.
A top FL??? You can just run stealth and stun revenge and boom cani FL is useless and then can just use repulse on the epics and it becomes a 2vs4.
There isn’t a lot of good stealth sweepers that are viable for the FL. You can’t rely on Bloom. Tago is wrecked by Stag. Bubblebasher (whatever his name is) is rare.
I would say it places a lot of limitations. If it becomes meta than cool we can build for it. But it makes things very Boring and limited.
this is an 1 example how to deal with it there is many others but since I use it I won’t tell you , that would be counterproductive for me
I know there are others, I’ve beaten Cani plenty of times including Dracarys team this season. But it sad I can’t use lots of my fun monsters in the FL against it. It does limit things a bit too much. Too many monsters are useless against it.
I can live with Cani the way it is. But it’s kinda boring.
I think unless cani aoe becomes OP (it has a long way to go imo) or extremely common it can stay the way it is. Most of the people who can run cani aoe choose not to because they use better strategies.
That’s called Teambuilding. Of course there is mons that are bad in FL or just get wreked,I remember that in unranked i ran thlugs and sleep and many people had No sleep counters and I’d get many wins.The point is that you can’t be countering every strategy.
Well duh. That isn’t the point. Building specific teams just for a few teams we might face isn’t very viable. Like I said if it becomes meta, no problem…But a bit too limiting as to what we can use as it is now = Not very fun.

So if @MementoMori think that I am not skilled I can’t argue, my monsters make a huge difference and I am aware of it. But coming into skill discussions because I proposed your favorite monster to be nerfed is a bad idea.
