It’s not. Wait for the new shop mythic or buy legendaries, materials you are missing.
They for sure won’t let anyone convert those for myth tickets.
I don’t need the legendary ones in the store, and I have plenty of materials

I can understand that they do not allow them to be converted into mythical tickets, but at least introduce something of value into the store since for some players who have all the mythical tickets in the store, the 6-star tickets are losing value
I haven’t bought 6 star tickets in a long time.
You don’t need to buy everything from the store. Not every deal is for everyone.
Do you have all shop myths and all shop shiny legendaries and super epics?
It’s always a problem for people who are on the extreme end of things. I’ve got hundreds of rare ingredients I’ve played for, thousands of potions and gone beyond the limit for some achievements. We’re in a very small minority and can’t expect value from everything we’ve obtained.
I’m up to 180 biweekly missions. Pretty sure I’m the furthest and so will always be in a state of not getting bonus gems for completing them.
As you say, this is the correct thing to do if you realise they’ll no longer have any value for you.

Yes, I have thought about not buying more tickets, there are some monsters that I don’t have but they are very few and they are monsters that I will never use, and I see a waste of resources to invest in something that I will not use
I am buying every shop monsters as I am getting close to owning every 0-6 stars released 
.
Myths will take me another year or so to collect all

I understand you, you are in collector mode but that doesn’t attract my attention, my resources are limited 
Maybe if the store put a 7-star ticket for 40 6-star tickets, it would be interesting, wouldn’t it? 
The Devs have been clear about keeping mythics and 7* tickets separate from 6* tickets, just like they don’t want to an infinite conversion of 6* tickets into legendary potions. They’d rather make them used for other things.
Skins, or similar cosmetic stuff, would be a great thing for them I think.
Something asked for by a few people here is a way to see monsters are HP boosted without having to click on them. For example, a filter for them.
I realised today that I can sort my monsters by HP and it pretty much shows all the ones I have boosted on the first screen. Don’t know why I didn’t think of this before!
It’s definitely not ideal, but thought I’d let you all know.
Assuming that happens not would it be better to spend 40 6-star tickets to get 1 7-star ticket or just spend 20 tickets on soral in exchange for 1 7-star ticket?

has never been able to do it. the same even goes for the legenderies and super epics. you cant buy a monster you already have +9

This works to some extent but it is a temporary solution.
I just think shop mythics should cost 6 star legendary pots and problem is solved.
Literally no one is spending 3 7star tickets to get a shop mythic when they can get a limited one
