"Ugly 1200-pull guarantee"

Fantastic, this game experience! Every time I enter the game, a page pops up asking if I enjoy it. My answer is exactly like the image I sent!!! The ways and speed to obtain diamonds remain unchanged, while new monsters keep flooding in. After completing an entire event, the diamonds earned aren’t even enough for a single 10-pull. Why not increase the diamond rewards from events? Also, why can’t we skip certain lengthy stages in these events like in dungeons? Hope these issues can be addressed.

Absolutely unacceptable! The game should naturally increase diamond rewards when adding more monsters, not keep the same old rates and force us to grind with meager diamonds for a guaranteed 1200-pull to get even one 7-star!!! Add a skip function to events—I don’t want to waste most of my free time grinding meaningless and lengthy stages!!!

You must be new here

@Dev_VKC increase the diamond rewards :joy:

“Are you enjoying the game so far?”
Yes. No.

Follow up question???
Feedback???
How long have you been playing???
Is your experience better or worse than when you started???
Do you like the new monster designs???
Do you like the Goddess designs???

Etc…

“Are you enjoying the game so far?” Is a question that always annoys me since there are no other questions.

I always click No.

I hate this game but I also love it too much.

I hope something good comes of this. I agree with what they were saying and I hope you guys keep improving the game for the better like you have for the past few years.

Yeah just we need skip button in PvE.

Does anyone ever click “yes” is the real question

My game level is 287, I spend mo:ney on it twice a month (four times on Valentine’s Day), and I’ve played for over three years. Stop calling me a newbie or saying I dislike this game! But let’s be clear: It’s possible to both love and hate the same game. I enjoy the PvP events, but that doesn’t stop me from hating the pitiful diamond rewards and the 35th attempt’s 1200-drop guarantee probability for the first seven-star character!!!

You’re definitely not a new player, but you’ve probably only been playing in the time where gem rewards and release rate of new monsters have been very consistent. I’ve been playing for almost the entire length of the game and have seen the number of gems we get increase more and more. It’s enormous compared to the early days of the game.

I think we get about 8x as many gems, the monsters we want are mythics (that cost 16x the gems) and the release rate of mythics vs release rate of legendaries in the early years is roughly 0.5x. So overall that works out as it being about as hard as it was in the early days, but we now also get a bunch of legendaries along the way. Of course this ignores guaranteed stuff, boosted rates, etc.

For reference, the number of free monthly gems we can get at the moment is about 700:

As another point of reference, I can tell you I’ve earned roughly 4700 free gems since the start of November (5.5 months). Which is 850 gems per month.

Awakening a mythic costs an average of 2133 gems, ignoring the pity counter which reduces that a bit (ignoring it for simplicity and because you won’t necessarily hatch until pity).

So you should be able to awaken a mythic roughly every 3 months on average. If you save and target the “half price” offer at the anniversary you can awaken even more on average. Even as a free player, you can awaken roughly 1/4 of the new mythics that come out. Just my opinion here, but I feel that’s pretty good.

Of course this isn’t the experience of everyone and when you’re playing the game each day you don’t necessarily feel the effect of your progress because it’s done over a long period of time. I can understand why if you’ve been playing in recent years you won’t have seen much change but you could be increasingly aware of the growing number of new things you haven’t been able to get and how lots of other people seem to have big collections of monsters that you can’t afford to own. I think the fact is that if you’re playing for free you’ll always need to pick and choose what you go for and accept there’s going to be a large number of mythics you can’t get.

From my own personal experience, I’ve noticed how in recent years I’ve been getting closer and closer to owning all the legendaries but the number of mythics I don’t have awakened is always increasing. With mythics I’ve been able to manage my expectations and awaken a lot of the ones I want most, with some I eventually decide to skip to prioritise others.

Respectfully,

We all know that pvp,all events and fortune shrine are the main source of gems, but in order to get all the gems we should have a strong team and have to spend at least 2 hrs in a day . Not all players have a strong team or are able to spend their daily time.

This is a grinding game and all the new players entering the game become aware of it within 1 month .We all hate grinding and complain or give suggestion to reduce grinding(Which I usually do). I have played many grinding games which usually ends up to be p2w and f2p gets crushed, obviously there are exceptions which I have played for more than 1 year, but to be honest this game lies on top of my favorite grinding games (Being in mid of f2p and p2w)and I am that one person who always click yes when game ask if I enjoy the game ,no matter how many times it have fraustrated me It have given me enough reason to be in the game(1st would be amount of time I have spent in this game and fortune shrine 500 gems grind is complete lol).

The thing I hate the most in this game is drop rates, there are many cases where players even after spending 1200 gems were not able to get exclusive legendary (Recent case coltraz where he got exclusive legendary at the last shard of awakening of new myth till I remember he said 72 pack )and also there are cases where players get legendary or myth in there 1st hatch. This makes so much difference.Only possible solution I can see here is to have a pity counter for exclusive legendary too.

Even after all this I try to complete the events, but bcz of not having strong team and recent improvement of ai ,crush my team like its a real player playing not giving me any turn. Completing events would be impossible for novice and intermediate players so even after all grinding we would get about half of the gems of whole event. Not only this in pvp when we reach at second last tier(That would be before champion),it is very hard to even go at the next level_ getting a player who have awakened myths every second or third match.I shouldn’t be mentioning this as it it last tier ,but what I want to say that if a player doesn’t have awakened myth he should not be made to battle players who have more than 5 awakened myths,it’s fully ok to make him battle with players have 1-2 A.myths.This directly implies that game doesn’t want that player to win,If we are on a streak make us battle player have same streaks but with power level equivalent to us not players on 21st streak when we are on 2 or 3 streak.

Overall I don’t want to say to make all events of the game easy ,give us large amount of gems,or make pvp fully easy and give us various monsters without grinding. What I want with this game is balances which makes the game fair for all players and as we upgrade, the difficulty should also upgrade.

This is exactly what I feel .I know I have told only negative aspects of the game but there are very positive ones too,my favourite is even after monster login campaign days are over we have at least 2-3 days to claim the rewards.

This game is definitely NOT a grinding game. I’ve played those before and have no interest in playing them now. One of the reasons I picked up NM is specifically because it isn’t one. I can casually play 20-30 minutes (or even total AFK) some days, while others I can play 3 hours and not miss out on anything.

You definitely need a good collection before you can complete all the content. That will take a few months or a year to build up. However, if you click the link to see where I broke down the free gems each month you’ll see that a lot of gems come from login bonus, daily achievements, etc. so let’s say you only get half the gems from events/PvP then maybe you’d have 150 gems less each month which is still 550/700 of the free gems.

I also hate the RNG of the gacha, but unfortunately it’s necessary for the game to be properly profitable. Honestly, I don’t think it matters that legendaries don’t have a pity timer because mythics are the important monsters now. It’s only a problem for collectors trying to target specific legendaries. Since the very beginning of the game you’ve never been able to target an individual legendary, it’s only been a thing for mythics.

I respectfully disagree sir, even google says

Just my personal definitions here, but I like to use them as this:
Farming - Repeat a task/action for some benefit.
Grinding - Repeat a task/action many, many times or where it is very time-consuming. In other words, hardcore farming.
Grinding game - A game that requires vast amounts of time spent doing repetitive actions in order to progress.

Personal opinion again here, but I don’t think NM requires much grinding… particularly compared to other games.

In my opinion, Neomonster isnt a very time consumer game, you can only login in the sanctuary days and still advance in the game…the PVP rewards are a boost for your progress and to me, the PVE events are not worth the time at all, they DO require a lot of time, and they DON’T give great rewards for your time, i think thats the only thing they need to upgrade(in order to make the PVE events more played and worth of spending your time in them). But if they don’t boost the rewards in pve it’s still a nice game and you can progress without them, that’s my point of view.

Ive played games I could farm/grind infinitely. neo is no where close to these type of games even if you grind the hell out of bonds, so the farming/grinding definitions work well here
