I sorta skimmed the discussion, but I know you didn’t have to since this was living rent free in your head for the past eight months (this is a joke so don’t react seriously).
Personally, I have fun tearing into players when I feel like doing it and they make it easy for me. Just to recap:

I took this into account, which was why I suggested 40 or 50 eggs. That still drastically increases the odds far past what I’d expect the devs would be comfortable doing.

Making a false implication to bait players into reacting is fun, but backtracking afterward and saying that you were just joking is weak. Why don’t you show some follow through? Maybe double down like the last time you couldn’t be bothered to plug three lines into a calculator?

I’m glad you know how to use the quote feature. I’ll honor my last post about letting this go, but it does some you’ve misunderstood one thing even more than the others.
I’m not saying I came up with the number 40, I’m saying that’s what I would have liked it to be around.
If I remember correctly, VKC replied somewhere about the topic of pity timer on rare eggs. I think they said probably not, but maybe at some point in the future (they have no plans but haven’t ruled it out completely).
Also, I’m not saying yall got on me for supporting the timer, I’m saying you made it a huge deal about what the number should be. I didn’t say anywhere that you opposed a timer, you came up with that yourself.

Your post lacked just enough context to make anyone who doesn’t know about/remember that thread from 8 months ago assume that I was against having a rare egg timer. Anyone with a brain could figure out what you were trying to say.
I’m not sure why you think the number on the pity timer wasn’t significant. That’s literally the whole point of it and would decide whether the timer occasionally helps out unlucky players or is constantly activating to drastically boost the mythic odds.
This part seems weird because you seemed rather hard set on the number being 30 back when this was first being discussed. When I said that 40 was a better number to ask for the timer, you said you didn’t understand my point at all. Perhaps you had a change of heart?
Well, anyone with a brain may have also read this very clear bullet point that you did in fact want a pity timer, you just wanted the odds to be different.

You only clarified that KD and I wanted the rare egg timer to match the regular gem pity timer after I corrected you. And still, all of the numbers I suggested had better odds than if we were to match the regular pity timer. Also, do you have anything to respond to this part? It seems like you were making stuff up when you said you would’ve liked the number to be 40.

Anyway, the number for a rare egg pity timer is obviously the most important part, so it would be odd to suggest one side was making a big deal out of it when both sides were doubling down.
