Some suggestions for the Monsterdex:
- a name/number search
- Adjust the numbers pages at the bottom, bc we are already at 3000+ and the last page stops at 2200+
- a filter option would also be great
Some suggestions for the Monsterdex:
Another suggestion:
Is it possible that we could activate/deactivate the SS within the team constellation?
Some examples:
Right now we play Survival of the fittest with a Costlimit of 100, where I use some monster without the SS. If i want to play PVP or another event inbetween, i really often only recognize the deactivated Skill in the next battle, which significantly influence the battle.
another example:
You build a team for a special event and get over the costlimit because of SS. But you cannot just switch to the SS page. First you have to place the monster back on the bench to get below the cost limit, switch off the SS and then put it back in the team again.
A simple turn on/off switch within the team building page would be great, so in Team 1 (PvE) my Monster is with SS, in Team Two (PvP) is without.
Since sweeping was added to the fruits and coins missions to make stuff easier can these rewards be changed to some other items like nectars or 5 egg tickets or even those cubes for style if they decide to make them f2p as well could put like 5 at the lvl 100 or at the end
What is sweeping? You mean do the same on BQ?
No that would be lose the essence and whole point of BQ. And No, Tav means remove silver and youth fruit and change it to nectar or better stuffs to engage and help F2P players reach high level.
I guess @Tavaray just meant the fruits and coin rewards from the BQ rewards, not to change all the rewards.
Why would this change the essence of BQ, when you just change some rewards?
I already wanted to suggest, that the fruit- and coin rewards from the daily quest (and the friends chest) could be improved or changed to nectar or something else.
i mean, fruits are always necessary but now can be more easily achieved. But 1000 silver coins from the daily quest or the friends chest is quite low when you keep in mind that you need 100.000-500.000 for evolving.
So maybe you could raise it up to 10.000 within the dailys. Within the friends chest it would be also cool to raise the amount or exchange the fruits/silver with nectar, ingredients and/or special ingredients
my freind, did you read the post above my reply? Johan asking if tav wants a sweeping method too in BQ and I said explained very well dot he did not say that and sweeping will lose the essence of BQ that you and your monster bond and understand how to use your monster by endless fight that The enemies you counter gets strong each level.
Could we get one more simultaneous featured banner? Been waiting for Whitara and it still hasn’t come back after January. The cycle is getting pretty long again!
Ah…sorry. I understood, that your first No was adressed to Tav and the second part to Johann.
I agree that sweeping should just be for ingredients, not for storys, events or BQ.
The progression in Neo Monster needs to be faster, so that free players and everyone in general can awaken more mythical monsters. You can create your team the way you like, but in a few months that team will be useless due to the constant new releases. Therefore, it’s necessary to address the issue of awakening. We need more gems to be able to compete properly; otherwise, it will be the same players in PvP and on the top leaderboards over and over again.
I enjoy awakening the mythic item I like, but collecting that many gems and waiting so long to achieve it is discouraging. PvP is only fun for those with a good collection; for everyone else, it’s an ordeal. We need to be at our best. My dream is to be Top 10, but it will be impossible no matter how skilled you are. I hope this improves soon.
That events can be completed by all players regardless of their collection, meaning that by playing a lot absolutely everyone can win the event; that all events have a minimum of 25 to 30 gems as a reward; and that PvP rewards include more gems.
I ABSOLUTELY agree.
For your first message there’s a simple solution: just buy gems. That will solve 90% of the problems you describe. That’s literally also the incentive to buy them
What I agree with is that the cycle of waiting for banners has got a bit long and it kinda sucks to wait for the return of certain monsters.
This I don’t agree with. It’s an essential part of the learning curve to struggle for a while and finally being able to beat the events feels so amazing! I remember when my skills and team got good enough to beat most events, it felt really fulfilling and I suddenly got access to way more gems than I did before. This was in 2018 by the way and I had probably played for a year before that. Similar progress can now be achieved in 3-4 months so it has got so much faster than it was back then!
I’ve played numerous games, and there are far too many games nowadays where new players are given enough resources to catch up with everyone else, but then to get back on track, you need many hours of gameplay and grinding. I remember many games where, as a new player, I completed all the events, but of course, it took hours of gameplay and a lot of grinding to achieve that, and that’s where the pay-to-win system is well implemented; it encourages you to keep playing. Paying to win shouldn’t be too obvious an option; it only leads to disinterest and immediate abandonment because everyone thinks, “They’re clearly hungry, I’d better leave.” We already have plenty of limited-time events; they don’t need to add new events, just more gems, and make them accessible to everyone. Regarding the other theories and disagreements, I’ll say this: The community is growing quite a bit, and we have many new players every day. PvP is very varied, and the leaderboard has changed because it’s not the same players as always. New players discover the game and keep playing, but because of those other theories, it’s the complete opposite.
90% of this is just pointless blabbering without really saying anything valuable. Or making any sense.
In these types of games there’s no other way to catch up fast except paying up. It’s also pretty fair isn’t it? You can grind a lot to get resources and in the meantime you gain experience and game knowledge. Or, you can spend to save time, get resources faster but you gain less skill and experience in doing so.
There’s a difference between reaching a point where you can do all the content and achieve well in PvP (e.g. top 100) and trying to get top place in PvP.
I think trying to get top 10 without spending or playing for years is completely unrealistic and that’s got nothing to do with the game being P2W or not… it’s because the game has been going for 10+ years and people have accumulated huge accounts in that time.
I’m a big supporter of catch-up mechanics for newer players, but it would be ridiculous if people could truly catch up with top accounts in a short space of time. From their perspective it would seem quite rude! How some games get around this is power creeping like mad, so anything the top accounts have get invalidated and newer players only need to collect the new monsters. Luckily this game is not doing that.
If you want to compete in PvP in this game then target what you go for and you should be able to get top 100 after 2 years. To get top 10 you’ve got to be patient and wait a few more years or you can shortcut by spending. If you can’t build teams / play well enough then these positions won’t be possible for you to get regardless of your collection.
As Exu says, let’s not go on long rambles about this without a clear point. The point I’m making here is progression in this game is fine and it’s only with unrealistic goals that it looks bad.
Imagine wanting to catch up with veteran players [in my case, I’ve never said anything so crazy, I’ll have to double-check my English translation because I might be using words I didn’t say]. Now that’s unrealistic. But there’s something wrong with being competitive and having a wide variety of players. I don’t agree with your statement that progression is good because we all know it’s very wrong. Reaching the top 100 in two years seems like a reasonable time to you? Don’t make me laugh. In other games, I’ve achieved good results in PvP in just one month. Maybe that’s why it’s so well-known and generates so much revenue. Keep up that attitude and you’ll see hundreds of players facing the same opponent over and over again. If you want to drop this topic, don’t reply because we’re not going to agree. Our dear developer already said that the game is more generous to free-to-play players: he knows it’s the right path.
In what kind of game can anyone get top 100 in just one month? That sounds like a game with no skill requirement and where the account you work to build does not hold much value. Either that or the game has only existed for a short time.
@Dev_VKC I uninstalled and reinstalled the game data, then downloaded all the game data, with the sole purpose of starting a 100% legitimate account and sharing with you what the experience would be like for a new player.
You could reduce the number of ingredients required to Ultra Evolve the starter Pokémon. These monsters are very well balanced; it wouldn’t be a big deal, and it would be better and much more fun for new players, thus encouraging interest in one way or another. Also, add one Legendary and two Super Epic Pokémon to each island, in addition to the ones already there. It’s great that we already have two Legendaries on two islands and some Super Epic Pokémon. The Super Epic Pokémon they give in the beginner missions is quite acceptable to start with; you could also give a Legendary.
