Ok, hear me out. Would it be terrible to have the pity system at 40 packs (instead of 30) but with two conditions. At 20 packs there is a guaranteed mythic from the available pool, and at 40 packs you have a guaranteed copy of the featured mythic?
So I always find myself having to remember the number an scrolling through the dex, which is very inconvenient, especially when looking through multiple Mons (like for special rule pvp).
Good afternoon I started looking at some things and saw that they put clothes on one of the Mythical goddesses if you apply the filter to make the goddesses look like their first form, it’s really cool. But there’s only one with that. Will they implement more in the future? @Dev_VKC
Oh, it looks amazing! I’m glad they applied a filter to it — it seems like they’re really thinking carefully about whether to make those filters or not.
If they add them, they probably won’t be free, and that’s fine. Let’s hope they do add them.
How about making them unlock one of the special ingredient mission instead of 16 days cycle.
Each key will open one of the event for 24 hours and takes 8 hours to refill, you can’t open same event twice a day and event will work as they do now (elemental dungeon usable multiple times and other will be once per unlock)
Excuse me, but I disagree with your opinion. I understand your point of view and respect it, but we free-to-play players work very hard to get gems because of the absurd amount they give away. And if you add to that the fact that you have to spend 1200 gems to get a guaranteed Mythic dungeon, it’s not very feasible. I don’t see anything wrong with the compensation of 2 gems for a mistake; however, you have to understand that with 2 gems you can’t even do one out of four spins. You don’t have to be a genius to understand that. At least 20 gems would be enough to lift the players’ spirits, since these same mistakes hinder us when we want to farm the very gems you say we should earn through hard work. I just wanted to emphasize that and make my point clear. I hope you understood, and thank you very much for reading. @Killerdog
I completely agree with this user’s point; the compensation for mistakes is minimal. Other aspects, like obtaining gems in PvE, are ironic, since some events only award a total of 20 gems. While there are events that offer more, these rotate out, meaning you only have a chance to get more gems every so often. In areas like the Online Story and its events, once completed, there’s no way to obtain gems. Honestly, a reduction in the pity meter or an increase in the ways to obtain gems seems fair.
For us free-to-win players, it’s relatively difficult to get gems, especially when most of us have everything completed and 2 gems can only be used to fill a ticket.
Also, the number of gems required to obtain each mythic monster is relatively high; most of us rely solely on PvP, bonding, and the source to obtain some gems. Many of us save for months just to awaken one mythic monster, and often it leads to a pity counter.
I myself am not very happy with how many serious bugs we’ve been getting lately (especially those tied to new releases) and how tirelessly long it takes to fix them (Van Sith situation). I believe they should give out more for those (and maybe not gems at all).
I did read it and I appreciate the thanks for doing so
Compensation gems being higher, since they’re unpredictable and random, wouldn’t really affect much to do with our overall free gem income so I’ve never really bothered to think about how many gems they give. I think there’s a fair point that they could be more significant, at least for the ones that block use of particular monsters or cause game crashes.
This is the aspect I completely DO NOT agree with… someone just wanting more gems and moaning about the number of free gems we get. We get many thousands a year and even when there aren’t limited-time events going on we can use spare tickets on MBQ to earn gems (at a similar rate to limited-time events). This is a separate topic from the one the person you’re quoting brought up.
Are you trying to make a serious point about compensation gems not reflecting the inconvenience it causes people or trying to cry about not getting all the monsters you want? You had a good point… don’t waste it.
What bothers me most is that when I spend the gems (which I’ve saved for months), I get the mythical monster almost at the end of my Pity meter and have to wait for it to respawn to awaken it. While it’s true that the developers aren’t obligated to give us gems, it’s very annoying when there are bugs like the current one with monsters that have the ability (from the edge) that can’t be used in PvE events and other situations. With each update, it would be nice if they gave us a few more gems, at least to boost player morale and make the game more engaging. While it doesn’t affect them, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to support players more with their gems. Another issue is the Sanctuary of Fortune. While it’s free, many players are extremely disappointed when they max out their spin and barely get the minimum reward in an event they’ve been waiting for for weeks or even longer. I also suggest lowering the pity counter to at least 20, since spending 1200 gems for a single copy of the monster is absurd. Many of us expect to awaken Mythic monsters with 1000-1500 gems, and reaching that amount as a free-to-play player takes far too long considering the ridiculously small number of gems they give away. Anyway, that’s all. Sorry for the long message, but I’m just expressing my opinion on this. Thanks for reading. @Killerdog
This, and other similar expectations are what lead to big disappointments. It’s roughly 2000 gems to awaken a mythic and about 1/3 of the time you’ll have to spend more than that.
I completely understand and appreciate the frustrations and disappointment. I’ve been playing this game for 9.5 years and had my (un)fair share of it all. It’s very hard to properly remember the times you’re lucky to help offset the times when you get disappointed by some bad luck.
However, the number of gems we get for free is actually a lot. From fortune shrines so far this year you should’ve averaged 5000 gems. That was all for zero effort, just logging in. So that’s 2.5 mythics (or more if spent in the anniversary). Building a collection takes a long time, but that’s basically the point of the game. If we could get all that we wanted for free then there wouldn’t be much need to spend.
So I sympathise and wish you the best luck in your hatches, but also don’t set unrealistic expectations that only cause you more disappointment.
P.S. If the pity timer went to 20 I am almost certain we’d see a big increase in the number of people complaining about hitting pity. It would take 6-12 months first where everyone is excited by it, then people would be normalised to it and start moaning how they hit pity super frequently. When catching up on the forum today I saw someone complain they hit pity 40% of the time when awakening a mythic (4 shards). Pity is slightly over 10% of the time so it makes complete sense that you’d hit it ~40% across the four shards . The fact it’s 40% of the time shows just how much work the pity is doing to help us right now.
