They work surprisingly well and I just play them for kicks and grins
*sigh*
It’s like you guys are in denial that old OMS are unbalanced.
And most don’t get on the forum anyway. I’m having a good time and am doing well, I’m not crying or anything I’m just pointing out some people legitimately struggle and have valid points
I agree that some of it needs work.
I like the set up as it is now BUT I think the percentages could use a bump.
Like 20%/ 2%
That would be acceptable with me^ and maybe starting times that are regional
They’re testing starting times with Japan/everyone else. They said it’s a lot to handle and may be switching back, if I remember correctly.
I hate this game. I finished in 40 minutes and no prize. The gold was crap and the mission was crap. I want my time back. This is a waste of my time. You make this game so that the winners are getting stronger and stronger. You have lost me and you will lose others. It is no fun. I won’t play it. If you fix it, maybe I will play again. I hope people give up and maybe that will force you to make it more fair. I am mad. You can call me loser. However, it is the cheaters and the lucky ones or the rich guys. So, you guys are nothing me. So call me loser. I will take it as a sign of how much you are a loser.
Uhh…i havent spent a single dollar on this game and the best egg i ever got was rookknight and i dont even use him anymore. I got terrorfish in 22 minutes in pool b.
Instead of blaming the game creators for “not making it fair” you should start with yourself.
Maybe you just suck bro
Pvs couldn’t get it and he’s an old forurmer with a lot of experience. Stair placement can be weird yo, and 1% is just 1%
1% is a growing number each week, as Pool B enlarges each week.
10% is a diminishing number each week, as Pool B gets smaller as the season goes on.
Either way, neither of them are “set” numbers of a total percentage of all players.
The percentages in both pools are out of everyone who completed the previous mission Crystal.
…then what I said still stands.
- For players in pool A, the number of grand prizes awarded in each mission will equal to 10% of the people who completed (everyone in both pools who got to the end including the people who lost) the prior week’s mission .
- For players in pool B, the number of grand prizes awarded in each mission will equal to 1% of the people who completed (everyone in both pools who got to the end including the people who lost) the prior week’s mission.
It’s not 10% of pool A. It’s 10% of both pools combined. Same with pool B. It’s 1% of both pools combined.
Alright, alright
The point is, system is still being worked on.
I think a American/ European / Asian would be fine for start times
Let everyone start within those three regions
Here it starts at 5pm (eastern) which is nice actually.
That’s strange, I’m in pool B and won the main prize 3 hours after it started. Not sure if glitch or I’m just lucky
That’s a good idea.
I see no point in complaining really…I didn’t get him either and my teams good (not as good as I thought then) sure I’m upset but you improve you learn from your mistakes you take that loss and become stronger. I started the game when pegasion came out didn’t get him (her??) but I trained my team got snowja and every OM to last weeks and now I have to work on my team or I won’t get next weeks either

Just saying.
Now, to be honest, I don’t like this thread. It’s foolish, immature, and unnecessary. However, that doesn’t mean that the frustration is unreasonable. I do understand your frustration, and you all DO have a valid point. I’m very pro-HI, as you all know. However, I acknowledge - and I have done so in the past - that the OM system does need improvement. Do not mistake this for me claiming that the system is completely broken, though. You should treat it as a challenge, hmm? Those who are active and skilled ought to be rewarded. Do not pull the “rich” bull with me, as the rich choose to get them through eggs, allowing more slots to be available.
With that being said, there’s always room for improvement. The above link that I posted was something I devised to solve every common OM problem you can think of. It takes away timers’ advantages. It solves the time zone issue. It’s a WEEKLY mission, not an hourly mission. It does have an optional $ amount, but it makes it so that NOBODY has to pay if they don’t want to. It rewards hard work and activity, and there is no special time constraint. You can begin the OM on wednesday and still get it. Keeping these in mind, it does happen to actually limit the number of OM arks released, but does it so that anyone who puts in effort WILL get the OM. Also, it requires skill and is WAY more interesting, so no more idiotic tapping.
The plain and honest TRUTH: If you can’t win an OM ark, that is because you HAVEN’T put enough time into the game. Winning the OM arks every week is NOT that hard. Regardless if you have ever won OM arks from previous arks. And I say this from my very personal experience. My very first run at an OM was season 1 week 7 where Goldenhorn was available. Since then, I have won EVERY OM ark after that without running a FIRE team because I don’t time eggs. Many weeks I just ran an all-around team of arks with gold ocarina. Recently, I switched to shadow ocarina with 2 plasmodious and 2 shadowlancers and a bunch of catchable healers from in-game EASY to catch, which took me less than an hour to farm. I’m sure if you dedicated SOME time… around 2 hours you could have a team with around 8 shadow arks.
All you need is some dedication. You want to compete with others without putting time into the game? Yeah… ok… that makes a lot of sense… not.
Your logic is not flawed though… in PvP you are totally correct. With every week that passes, the stronger keeps getting stronger, and the weak keeps getting weaker. Until previous OM arks are released, this will always be the case. For instance, those who got SS and Mossgolem will always have an advantage in PvP over people that joined late and don’t have them.
The OM system can be CERTAINLY improved, but as of now, it is what it is and if you want OM arks every week, you have to try harder.
Now, let’s be sure to factor in the luck side of it, too.
This is one area I’ve voiced opinions on. I do think missions should be a bit more skill-based and less luck-based. You could get 5 fights per floor, or go multiple floors without any fights.
And you may have to fight bosses and you may be able to avoid them. Some things should be changed (on a short-term, minor amount of coding level): either force boss fights for everyone or let everyone avoid them, and make there be less variation floor to floor with fights.
Then do whatever it takes to make it more skill-based. We can’t legitimately use the skill argument too well given how luck-based it is at the moment.
Must be a lucky glitch. I am in pool B and finished in 32 minutes with no award.
