I like the Whales event because i use a lot of mons that I wouldn’t otherwise use, neither in PvP nor PvE.
These are the odd ones I use, I’m curious what other unusual choices people use in this event:
Water - Captain Whiskers, Warca, Stormloch, Frozma
Light - Chronotitan, blitzdyr, heavenswyrm, shadowhunter, luxking
Dark - Wraithost, Ankou, Reven, Yin
Thunder - Bunkerbeast
Fire - Ashterios, Doomengine
Earth - Bazil, gnashjaw, chamilizard, arborgias
the ones youre using arent odd,theyre common mons everyone use in this treasure event

I totally agree with you! It might be one of my favourite events just because of that fact. Making teams of each element is pretty fun!
My limited collection means I’m using every mon I have over 5 stars haha. With a few super epics not fully evolved. It has been really fun building link teams with basically all decent mons I have. Out of interest, where are you spending your fins. I have been prioritising gems, but in your experience, would you suggest buying any of the other items?
Also, where is this elusive turtle!
In my case I will spend the finns in 1 rare gem, 2 ocarinos and the rest gems (I don’t think I will be able to take the ticket)
Be careful about asking where to find that turtle around this forum, mods seem to get upset when you do @deebs !
If you want it to reappear then you need to hoard your Finns. Save them all until the end of the event, then spend them

This saved me… Haha I hadnt evolved him fully and wasn’t using him. Very handy for buffed mons… Wish I got him to +9 before evolve… Oops
I’m Glad to hear it. It’s an amazing monster i paired it with Chronotitan and Nulltron so it’s Bond Focus passive was always activated and it was a beast. Btw this is a regular SE so you can’t pot it with epic pots only with the SE ones
Ahhh that’s a relief. I have it in my opening line with chrono, Heavenswryn, and Leoronix. They all get survivor and I use cornered snipe to pick off the dangerous enemies. And heavens can keep Leo alive to maintain protector. It’s working pretty well.
Great FL you shouldn’t have trouble completing it mine was Auro Heaven Chrono Nulltron and Lordstag in 5th
