Voodoom

Hi guys,

Just noticed that Voodom is not weak to toxic killer, which to me looks absolutely ridiculous, since his moveset is based on poison damage.
I think this really need to be sorted.

He doesn’t actually deal poison with any of his moves or passives, hence he isn’t weak to toxic killer. It’s the Voo monsters that create poison in the enemy team.

Taunt isn’t weak to protector killer

These are indirect passives. They create things that can help play their archtype without making them weak to it

I feel that it’s misleading to categorize taunt with these other cases… taunt is essentially equal in function to protect moves, it’s just pretty much a special case that had to be called out directly in the move’s description. Dreamhunt and poison massacre make inherent sense though, since they don’t directly inflict sleep or poison.

Taunt is Pretty much the same as auto protect made into a move minus the weakness

Yet Aracnadiva is weak to protector killer because of scapegoat.

But Scapegoat is a “Taunt” style move or it can be viewed as Auto Protect.

Either way it’s misleading.

We determined that the move itself was what exposes one to pk, not the protect status, so that’s the explanation for scapegoat. Taunt by all accounts should be a protect skill, so the devs had to explicitly call it out and ignore their pre-established framework in order to achieve their desired result. In voodoom and onigeist’s case, no such intervention is needed because their moves don’t inflict the condition themselves.

Gary?

Yeah, since I just found her a strongly belive she shouldn’t have that weakness.
