Well this is the reason why nyx is not popular, majority of the player base is f2p nd when it comes to running nyx u need <50% speed mons where only myth excels smhw.

If I understand your statement correct and some top players fail to use her properly, how come 7 players in the top 10 are running her? So you mean that even though she is being used below her capacity she is able to impact the ranks so much? If by using her the wrong way you can still place that high, then you must admit that there’s something wrong.
I think you need a better reason on why making a monster have no hard counters is justifiable and why the current ranking is not enough proof to justify the introduction of a hard counter. Top players will not fail to deal with her because they will be running her.
I think being the top 23 most used in top 100 is VERY significant for a monster that had just ONE banner after the mega buff. Who could afford spending the money (a very small portion of players) got her, so I think that statistic actually shows that her usage is extremely high for the amount of people who own her.

Ldiefaith is my favorite monster my most used monster , sometimes he can be good but sometimes he lacks targets against other link (water / Strom) who are common in front line , and I think touching him is a really bad idea , like chary discussions in the past , you said let’s introduce counters before nerfing and that leaded to a worst results making meta into more fast fls , when they buffed megalo and scalguard , why only ldiefaith?? So we should change every 49% speed monsters now ??? Because after changing ldiefaith speed they will use other 49 speed like rilla , and by the way ldiefaith is more a counter than helping nyx users

I agree, I meant considering the overall amount of players, the ones paying that much money for a monster is still fairly small overall, so definitely the jump from 4-5 players using her to the 23rd most used within top 100 is a great indicator of how she dominated the top, where people outside top 100 used her a lot less and therefore placed lower in the ranks. The statistics are pretty clear to me in regards that there is a balance issue.
For now there will be nothing to counter Nyx, I think the developers’ idea is to create a mythic that counters Nyx in the future so that all p2w can wake it up and thus fill their pockets🤔

I think the balance issue that everyone is so hung up on is how all the top nyx teams also had 10 ridiculesly strong mythics following up behind her
Its not like the nyx is what made them great alone these people have been top players for a long time
They all just happend to add nyx now that nyx just had a banner

Among some of the suggestions that were given yesterday in the thread was to differentiate the range of its ability for allies and opponents, referring to, for example, that fermata affects up to 50% of your friendly monsters and up to 60% of the speed of enemy monsters In my case it doesn’t benefit me because the FL that I use is totally fast, but the point is that nyx users are not so dominant and take a little more risk when using it, as happens with any monster in FL that has its counter for very It’s good that it is, because there has been so much talk about putting a monster that has the function of killing it even if it doesn’t serve many others, so it would be like a 50/50, users who use fast FL can be affected by the fermata or users who use nyx can lose nyx and play with their slow monsters, I use vixenblade and I have to know how to come back when they use unicera, shadowyrm among others, why couldn’t nyx users do it too.

Can u make shiny serazael,SE shark and fyrielle have 49% speed? They are too slow to remove monster that get hit by fermata effect. Another backbiter like Wraithost, geomagnus And geoceron too fast ,so they get affected by fermata effect.
Backbiter with 49% speed can be cool to soft counter her. But NYX user most likely wont use them.

Nyx exists to counter a concept of fast monsters.
It would be very dumb to have higher spd monsters to kill her before fermata.
You guys just want your 80+ spd dual target monsters to shine.

I also agree with that. But it’s not like those top players with a really big collection needed a monster that slows down the opponent FL by 100% without any hard counter. Again, the point speaks against itself.
If the idea behind Nyx was just to make people with huge collections even stronger, then it’s better to just say that.
Imagine if we all started a charity to collect money just to help the rich get richer. Wouldn’t that bring even more balance to an already unbalanced world?

He actually stated the sad truth.
i am not saying she is not strong.
but i am also saying that what she does is important for the health of the game
caus what was happening was fast fls dominating the faster the better and that was really unhealthy
nyx did not exactly work out as the perfect solution but its the best one we can ask for without reworking 90% of monsters
as what she does now is gurantee hinder fast fls and making them alot more risky to run
this in turn should make players try harder to adapt by running pullback monsters caniblise monsters backbite monsters whatever and the like so they dont get entierly screwed
which down the line hopefully will create a more diverse and healthy teambuilding across the board
