can we get some special consideration for mortar mons against fermata?
I think they already struggle both in pve and now we cannot viably play them courtesy of nyx’s fermata…

actually this makes sense. as technically they are the slowest monsters in the game because they need 2 turns to be effective.
charge is similar but as they are quicker to attack im not sure if they should count.
@Dev_VKC this is definitely something that should be considered.
it would also make them an effective but not overpowered nyx counter if fermatas effect excluded them.

An idea this just gave me for a sensible redesign of fermata is that it only increases the TU of damage dealing moves. If it really proves too much of a problem, this is a potential route to take (but it should probably get a TU reduction on it to compensate)

The funny thing is that still nobody is running slow frontlines. What’s next? Maybe boost Nyx again to insta win if the enemy team has 4 monsters over 50% speed?
Fermata is a dumb move that doesn’t work for stopping the fast FL issue.
And I will repeat what I was saying a long time ago, the problem started with Prixis and her fast break move without a counter. The solution was to introduce an even faster monster that deals with her. Now that monster is next to useless aside from that single purpose so people are not running it anymore, which means fast Prixis FL are still very viable. Then they buff Megalo which, again is mostly useless and becomes death weight more often than not.
After that, we got XYZ buff at 80% speed and a double break move.
Then we have Vixenblade that can also cause havoc at 81% and it’s very often being used in FLs.
Devs need to look into lowering the speed of certain monsters rather than introducing faster monster to counter them or, even worse, decide to buff Nyx again. Just rework her to serve another purpose.

nah. Just people who dont know how to run her is the issue, anyone who builds their team right with her shouldnt lose to fast fls, atleast not easily

I mean more in the sense that people are not bothered enough by her presence to slow down their frontlines.

I am the one who asked xyz buff bcoz I am get tirred faced with tanky stun counter FL like Onixia,Momo and sakuralisk. All Times up monster can’t kill them and its crazy for me.
Before xyz buff we also have 88% speed monster that have double breaker move (Mai) and no one complain about it. Since not many player run poison FL.
So i Made idea : as long xyz doesn’t have roaring entrance and have cheap counter for it (scarleguard and Shiny fox) ,its fine If somehow he have double break move (similiar case like naganandia, and Mai) . Ppl complain about xyz most likely bcoz they are run crono monster in FL.

That doesn’t help the fast FL issue though. Momo and Sakuralisk are very slow, and Onyxia is usually not destructive in his first move nor is a fast sweeper when charged.
My point is that you can’t fight fast FL with even faster monsters. The whole idea of Nyx doesn’t work because there are too many fast monsters with break moves that are worth running even with the risk of getting slowed down by Fermata.

I am just explain why xyz get buffed in the past. U maybe not xyz user. If xyz can’t kill those stun counter with Times up, they Imediately get a turn. Because that they give xyz piercing Times up.
But if u ask me about current meta, Imo the main problem it just u lost power againts strong myth monster FL, even they are not fast ,the power its different.
No, I get that. I have no issue with the buff, but its speed should be lowered. All the OP breaking mythics should have their speed reduced to be fair.
Curious what you think running her correctly looks like. I imagine ppl will think your idea of how to run her is…you guessed it…wrong.
Every Nyx expert have seen her only on the banner poster.

no need for that, i dont know how to run her myself and that i admit. but ik that fl sucks because the only reason why i won is because he didnt have a real way of killing anything i had. ldiefaeth had no ss and the hydroloch is second form my guy. i also met a couple of nyx fls too who had this exact same issue and thats why i keep winning against them
only nyx team i lost against in this season was Mr.X ones i think where i got solo’d by a carmilla

It is almost unbelieveable how you could not see that 2x150tu unrestricted Daunt on a shielded roaring entrance legendary that can immiediately retreat was a good choice to introduce. Do you even test ANYTHING before release?
You will see it again as the most used closer and maybe then you will get some ideas why it is so popular for the EG.

It’s genuinely crazy to me sir lancerat is a thing. It’s like if a stunning wave user like nova had 2 charges of it and had roaring entrance to cast it at anytime at will. Like if they changed sir lancerat move to stun, it still would be a good unit.

Limited his roaring entree only for the first time if he enters the field …it would nerf him but not so much
