As much as I agree 100% with you on the Lancerat issue, seeing you complaining about Lancerat while using Lemon and Isoldelle (not to mention other broken mythics you might have also used before in that match) feels a bit hypocritical. Lancerat is an issue (I’ve lost a number of games that I had a massive advantage just because of him) but so are some other monsters as well, including a few that you use. On the other thread you were being cheeky when people complained about Isoldelle. Nothing personal against you, but if you want a fair game, be fair when other people also call for a nerf. It feels like you are always pushing for specific nerfs to monsters that counter your strategy while also making fun of people and telling them to spend money when they complain about your monsters. Again, I’m 100% with you that he needs a nerf though.
Let’s start with discussion why his Daunt move costs less than it pushes for? And why it is ready to be used back to back. Neko counter and mushroom mark should be removed after a damge was dealt. It should also get removed after his Warcy move. Not even mentioning his SS because it is long text with literally no restriction to it.
Fair game to discuss about Isoldelle but you can’t compare awakened mythics to widely aviable legendary that is clearly out of the legendary league. If he is supposed to be synergizing with other neko counter mons and mushroom guy, then his skills should have restriction based on those monsters. What we have now is another stun lock mechanic that does not include any stun.
Also, aren’t other Daunt type skills blocked by time freeze while this is not???
I used him also this ranked but i agree .
And im sure he will be nerfed next sasoin in which way ever
My only loss is due to him stunning me for 300tu. Kinda crazy it exists in the game and unlucky for me i didnt get him
But a nerf can be seen from afar
I agree, but even if Lancerat was a mythic.it would still be broken. I think there’s nothing wrong with some legendaries or even SEs being better than some mythics as it can be very meta dependant anyway. For instance, Penguinator can kill 4 monsters but it’s slow, has a chrono weakness and can be stunned. Yes, sometimes it hits you hard and I’ve lost quite a few matches because of the perfect timing that he came into the battlefield, but now we have for example the goat mythic that just dual one shots anything at a fairly high speed, while also being super tanky and increases the speed of legendaries and mythics entering the field. There’s nowhere else to go now with the new monsters, most new things are broken because they are trying to outmatch the then previously OP monsters. We’re talking about one with dual piercing moves that one shots everything, one with death revenge all triggered by a teammate, a 300tu stun that’s almost impossible to counter. These things make Vixenblade (also way too OP in my opinion) seem not that bad all of a sudden. Nerfing only Lancerat will stretch the gap between f2p and p2w players even further so devs need to take the whole game balance into consideration.
Best combo endgame. sir lancerat+ doomgoo. Sir lancerat daunt 300sec sometimes with Stun and then followed by doomgoo (have 51 sec sweeping). 300: 51= If u success it can clear 6 monster. And sometimes they have 2-3 doomgoo
Nagandia daunt cost 170 tu for 80 secs …she needs some justice
husky is 40 for 110 any justice for that
Someone make a chart for this, daunt/TU cost and find how many seconds we can stun with 1TU secret skill
I also used it and it was a horrible experience because it is so shitty (at least that’s what I felt) . I immediately went back with nathur lol
Out of the around 12 matches I lost this ranked it was probably 6 down to Lancerat + stun+ + doomgoo combo, 3 because I made dumb moves and 3 because I was really outmatched. It is very frustrating when there is such a cheap combo that should have never existed in the first place during ranked that only happens for 3 days in a month. @Dev_VKC you guys really need to take these kind of things seriously. Players were pointing out the issue with Lancerat from the minute his egg popped up, it ran for almost a month showing that it definitely was an issue and nothing was done to address it. Probably a great season for everyone running Lancerat and a terrible experience for those who are not.
It IS true that it is better with doomgoo rather than nova
This comment is the kind of thing I often see in these balance discussions… mixing up when things are STRONG and when things are BROKEN.
There are lots of strong monsters which can exist in a healthy game. For example, Lemon is one-dimensional and has a million counters. Isoldelle has a super powerful revenge but you can just ignore it and face a 130TU one-shot attack repeatedly, it won’t make you lose the game.
Broken things are where they are strong and unrealistic to counter or they create an incredibly powerful strategy that outclasses alternatives. Sir. Lancerat does both those things! It’s also super easy to see as soon as you experience it that the opponent simply gets a free 300s to try and make a comeback in the battle, even with extra combo potential as shown by Coltraz above where they sacrificed and revived it to turn that into 600s.
You can come up with your own alternative definitions, but it should be clear to everyone that Lancerat does something actually broken while other monsters talked about are just very strong. I appreciate that monster designs are complex so for monsters such as Nyx it’s tricky to figure out which side of the line it lands, but that’s not what we have here.
After using her for like 2 weeks or so I can’t believe more people are not investing in her.
Most of us have to be very picky with which mythics we can afford to awaken Personally, I’m never going to get to Lemon because there are too many ahead
Lemon has a bunch of counters if you stick a bunch of sleep immune monsters in the last 6 or 7 slots. Even so, the enemy has pretty much the whole match to set up a field in such a way that when she comes, she will have the 4 targets she needs and then pair her with sleep immune monsters as well. Isoldelle can be left alone until the enemy backstabs her and all your 4 monsters die. Her revenge also ignores everything.
Yeah this aspect I don’t like, it’s the one bit I’ve complained about and recommend they change.
Not really. Poison, purify and sleep immunity are incredibly common things around that directly counter her or make it very awkward for the enemy team to work around. She’s also loosely countered by protectors, stealth and shields.
If the Lemon user has sleep immunes in front then the opponent can basically target them. Lemon coming in with 3 sleep immune teammates is the opponent’s fault! Realistically they’ll have 1 on the battlefield. When she hits the battlefield it’s also far from an auto-win. She sets up an advantageous situation but it takes proper work / team building to make that be a proper comeback.
Shes fine her clothes are ripped
Easier said than done. People will run purify all, backbiters and knockback to set her up properly. Even if you take out a couple of sleep immune monsters, she will come in and shield all the allies because they will be sleeping.
In my opinion, that’s not much different than Lancerat as in she also “push” your monsters back by 300 sec when she hits you. I also feel that we need to do with sleep immune monsters what was done to poison immune, they shouldn’t be targeted by dual dreamhunt moves.
