Well done @MementoMori and @Djbasak
I was really happy to see a bunch of different strategies being played this time. Many people using Maggatsuoh and Chronotitan or new monsters like Christine.
Another one for you to try out in a new UC team!
If anyone is looking for a new UC strategy to use… I put Vinegazer into my Purpie team instead of Purpie and turns out it works very well.
The strategy is quite simple…
Put as many stun revenge/entrance monsters in your team alongside Vinegazer. Maybe a bit of knockback too to remove any stun protection they’ve got. Stun the enemy team at the start, sprout conversion your way through your own team.
Every Vinegazer can use germination once (turning an enemy into a useless Vineye that spams risky heal - 40% chance to die). After using germination spam risky heal all (60% chance to die). As RNG would have it, you’ll get rid of your Vinegazers faster than they do their Vineyes so they’re constantly stuck with nothing to use and you can germination each new enemy as it enters.
The stun in your team will make sure the RNG favours you well (you have more time to sacrifice your Vinegazers).
Key things to use other than stunners:
Aurodragon can be used to make some Vinegazers at the back of your team if you let it come in and stay there a little before converting it. Other revival monsters can be used in a similar way.
Anything which can clone is a good for giving extra fuel for you to convert. The stun revenge cloners are particularly good because they clone next in line, stun the enemy team and provide infinite fuel. Tenebris can be nice with the stealth. Cosmo/Nebel are nice with their blood clone, when you convert them they shield the rest of the team and if they’re killed by enemies they have DR so a good fail case.
Overall, this might be a UC strategy based quite a bit on RNG but I’m sure with careful team building and practice it could be strong. It’s definitely a great option for anyone who doesn’t have the best UC monsters.
nice!
