Two new SCB (Nov. 17th) monsters - Solblaze and Lunartic (updated Nov. 23rd)

Solblaze:

Unique abilities for Solblaze are Assisted Flare and Sleep Revenge. Upon dying, Sleep Revenge has a 40% chance for each enemy monster respectively to put them to sleep. Meaning, depending on your luck you’ll put 0, 1 ,2, 3 or 4 monsters to sleep.

Lunartic:

Unique ability for Lunartic is the Bad Friend Field passive. “When an enemy enters the battlefield there’s a 35% chance to summon one Bronzeshell next in the opponent’s reinforcements. However, Bronzeshells don’t trigger this ability.” 

The design hurts me much

Cannibalizing 13 points legendary to have a 40% sleep chance for each of 4 monsters + possible bane at slot 5. Not quite sure that it is worth doing 

The only thing if faststrike is nerfed so its killing potential will go to zero

I am not sure anymore that they are even going to nerf faststrike at all, specially after seeing a new monster(maybe two) having faststrike which arises many questions. Regardless, sleep revenge on ‘every enemy’ is just absurd even if it is 40% chance.

40% sleeping every enemy seems insane to me when combined with Cannibalize. Now randomization has always played a huge factor but if your Ziberius + Solblaze has a 40% to pretty much auto-win the match, that’s just dumb design. Wouldn’t matter if it were 10% or just 1% either. It’s just on principle, this sucks. But I’d rather think that removing the death revenge passives triggering on Cannibalize is the way to go about it, considering how strong Ziberius openings are to begin with.

After sun goes down you are going to sleep. That is nice idea but really painful monster especially when sleep revange hits all your mons.

As Hidan said elsewhere just think that bane as 5th it’s pretty common actually. The combination isn’t OP to me. Anyway we have to wait until next pvp to have a certain answer.

Yeh but I’m not a fan that you require a single certain legendary or are 100% screwed. That makes the pay-to-win notion just the more relevant. But yeh, I kinda expect changes because of PvP so let’s wait.

Combo with Atra,ziber
Ziberius cannibalizes then atra necro, another cannibalize with atra… sleep lock lol

You can use him at 8 cost rather than 13 for sleep revenge.  Also, it’s not that everyone’s asleep, just that each individual monster has a 40% chance of sleeping. - i.e. he will sleep 2 on average.

Bane is a hard counter, but if you don’t have him, you’re likely to be in trouble when facing this guy + zib.

Even if you have bane and you decide to use it at back line (which many do to break successful sleep locks or/and to follow up with terror/other poison monster) then you are pretty much screwed cause your half team is dead either by faststrike or by sleep revenge and to me it seems 40% is chance of it ‘triggering’ and it would mean that 40% chance of ‘every’ monster going asleep at once. I.e. either all 4 goes down or no one does and which sounds beyond absurd getting used by a ‘chronozeros clone’ legend.

I think we’re over hyping the fast sleep all here. At its best it’s basically a faster SS sleep all, and that’s not reliable at best. Even if it’s a 40% chance to win the front battle you sacrifice a monster to do it, and furthermore you have to run a really risky front line to take advantage of it.
Dont get me wrong, it’s good. Its just not THAT good imo

Oh, is that how it works? Because the wording makes it sound like 40% for sleeping all. In that case it would require a better description like “every enemy monster has a 40% chance to be slept respectively”. Also, that would no longer be remotely as OP with Ziberius but yeh, need some confirmation on that. Haven’t tackled SCB myself just yet.

It is not working all or nothing, it could sleep 1, 2, 3 or 4 mons. The chance of each sleep is 40%.

I’m sorry, no. 40 percent on every enemy is WAY overkill. As if Ziberius wasn’t excruciating enough to deal with already, now he has yet another little toy to play with. Imagine a FL of Ziberius, Solblaze, Leogeist and Cryptblade with shino or wraithcaptain in fifth. Solblaze gets cannibalized, and about half the enemy team is instantly rendered useless, with dreamy enterance potentially sealing their fate even further. Then while Leo builds up and Zib ravages the mons that were able to stay awake, Cryptblade revives Sol and then he’ll still be able to sweep like before and threaten another revenge. Tell me, how the heck is anyone expected to counter that? And don’t say Banedragon, because not everyone has him and not everyone who has him puts him right up there in fifth. If I had him, I would put him in seventh or eighth, so he doesn’t chance coming in too early against a sleep lock team and not actually managing to break the impending sleep lock. So by the time Bane actually comes in to wake everyone up, Sol already has his kills and Leogeist has become the unstoppable menace we’re all familiar with. And people don’t exactly make a habit of sticking a ton of purifiers in their FL either, and even if they do, they’ll probably doze off along with everyone else. It’s deathgazer all over again- it’s completely unavoidable and it’s unfair.

Cannibalize wont trigger revenges, problem solved. Really hard saying (:sunglasses:)This cause i my selfe use cannibalize FL but yea, this revenge will ruin the meta

And i’m afraid it will get even worse with the luna guy

he doesnt need to be cannibalized with zib he is a threat on his own just like chrono. the only different is his passive 

I would like to disagree, every cannibalize TRIGGERS revenge passives, maybe your thinking death roulette
