Recently I got a Necrowing… but I was wondering: is it actually worth running a legendary twin killer over a super epic one (I am currently using Demolitron)? I feel like Necrowing is pretty much useless if the enemy has no sleep/protect monster, and he’s bloodthirst is very unreliable and even when activated doesn’t really deal that much damage. On the other end super epics get timestrike, which makes them more versatile, even though they won’t get the chance to swipe… It seems to me that super epic twin killers are better and also cost 3 less… Even statwise the legendary guys don’t seem that much better (about +900 atk -700 def compared to demolitron)… Am I missing something? What are you thoughts on this?
Well, you miss stun immune, which is quite important in the battle~~
It depends on your team. A protect team monster can make time strike useless if you are unable to stun it. legendary twin killers can one shot most sleep monsters except soulstealer and the two legendary sleepers with hold ground. Then even if the sleepers manage to put any of your monsters to sleep you just have to tap them to knock them out. Also if a monster is able to use protect focus the the legendary twin killers can take it out in two hits.
Bloodthirst also stacks as you get kills so the more kills, the higher the damage
Recently got Kamiwyrm and he is way better than the super epic twinkillers in my opinion.
Yeah, I guess i forgot about that and it makes quite a big difference
It just feels so hard to get it stacked…
Ok, overall I now get why the legendary twin killers are usually better, still I like my demolitron more ![]()
When you ultra evolve the legendary, the stat difference is +2000 attack, -300 defense.
Bloodthirst can be gotten up pretty easily if the other team has a lot of protect/sleep monsters. I recall one fight in chapter 6 where 14 or so of the 20 monsters you fight were sleep/protect.
