New Additions Update
Jingwei goes in at E for PvE, F for PvP, second form tier 1 and D for HP boostWith multiple situational moves and the ceiling not being very high I think she is basically pretty bad. The 7* rock comes with untrained stats so is pathetic, it’s purely for the SS condition but that doesn’t make sense because if it’s entered then you have nothing to sacrifice. The revive revenge doesn’t work if the damage from her revenge kills the attacker, which is silly. I’ll rant about the SS then give an overview.
The secret skill seems exciting but the restriction of no holy monster (i.e. Nephthys/Aurodragon) and needing more stars than the opponent probably stops any exploitive setup even though you can use it on the first turn. The idea of the revive is she comes at the back where you can use the secret skill as a final attempt to clutch the battle but it’s super clunky because only she will be left so, unless it’s the final four enemies, you’re going to lose. It also doesn’t bypass stealth and it needs to sacrifice something so if the 7* rock is brought in then you can’t do it. If you’ve spawned other rocks in the meantime then if any of those have entered you probably don’t have more stars than the opponent.
In practice I think all she’ll be is a sweeper that you occasionally use for stun or creating a bronzeshell. With no immunities or low TU killing and not even being able to sweep in some scenarios that puts her outclassed by a large number of mythics. Some Emberelle players will surely use her just because she’s a fire bird but I think that’s her only niche. I reckon the SS needs buffing so the condition is you have more stars than the opponent OR have no reinforcements (doesn’t need to sacrifice in this case). Basically, something that makes her more reliable at the back when revived.
With energy charged on its first turn, high speed and a powerful revenge this is a very playable monster. The flexibility to stun is nice, but I doubt you will do it much because it slows down what this is doing by a huge amount (160TU then 70TU charge then the 160TU attack before finally the faster 110TU sweeping). I reckon that’s where the secret skill comes into it, letting you bypass the need to charge for the attack if you stunned the first turn. Otherwise, I’m not too sure whether you need the secret skill. At +3 cost and needing to use other celestials it’s probably not worth it just to have a piercing kill available and the smoother stun line of play. However, I haven’t been able to test the damage so maybe the hit on other monsters is huge.
There’s a lot of sleep protection around in PvP these days but I have no doubt this monster is generically very strong as long as you’re not running holy monsters. I reckon it’s likely to see similar play to Runedragon. In PvE the damage from energy spike is more than enough and again it is simply a good sweeper.
