Yeah I think I’m gonna have to put one in. The skill May aswell be called ‘knockback rexo’
Also poison hitting 0 when enemy is on hold ground is stupid aswell
I literally can’t beat the 2nd gatekeep. Stun is basically completely ineffective and last biters are useless… God damn it! I’m attempting death revenge
Alucard, I’m telling you now, all I want to be is in the top 10 i can’t be arsed to race you I’ll probably stop at 300… I want to see how many can do the second gatekeeper!
I’m going to go for first this time. Would really like to get godfeather to +9 by the time pvp comes back if possible. I’m sure jral and mophiese will have something to say about that again though lol
The first image is my main team. The second is the one I used for the second gatekeeper. Basically you have to restart until the initial death revenge hits flyther. That drops him to about 5-10% health. Then I used the crygolems desperate double to hit him along with the aegis dragon to drop him to hold ground. Then finished him off with Titan wolfs desperate double. From there it was just the normal loop without as good an opening though so it was a bit close. Ended up coming down to my last biter vs theirs but mine won as it’s faster.
How did everyone else beat it so far?
My normal sleep team beat it quite easily
I have hyrdro and shadow hunter but no gold tail or the all important polareon for that strat
Lusolas is not in the top 50. Did he quit?
He quit he raged when he lost last time
I found a quite successful yet very stupid and boring way to win all fights till lvl 121 with barely any restarts. It works with a key of 3 or 4 monsters all just epic 4 star monsters. But the down side is: you can spend 20-90 minutes on a fight. It’s hard to loose except auto poison or stun blockers but hey got further already then last time will wait till the last day and just spend a couple of hours to secure my current top 50 position
Sure lesolas did quit?
I have a question. If multiple monsters on your team with death revenge die at the same time, do they always target the same monster on the opponents team. I just had a case where I had 5 Nebelronix left and the opponent team was down to two monsters. An AOE killed the first four Nebelronix and their death revenge all targeted the same monster. Leaving one to finish me off.
It’s random. Could hit all 4 or as low as just 1
But when you go further, the chance of Everything decreases, right? Like Sleep, it misses More often, death revenge targets the same mon, Sudden death hits your own mons and Ricky heal Always kills your mon…
I don’t think so. My sleep stays the same and the amount of seconds stun works is the same.
Is there much of a difference between lvl 160 and 220 e.g.?
Just the amount of buff the enemy has. Floor 200 is a gatekeeper.
Here’s a video of the gatekeeper.
This also shows you Lendren that sleep doesn’t change
Some of the biggest differences between 160 and 220 are things like Death Revenge not always killing a monster outright, the number of Last Bites it takes to take out even a low level monster, how hard even 1-star mobs hit, and how little damage some of your own abilities do (my Ultima Dragon at 221 using Double Survivor took the two mobs down about 10%).
I find it hilarious that you use the word “mobs”.
Well I figured out how to do fully healed nebil clone trick but I’m always below top 10 by 1 point hahaha il have to fix that
Too many years playing EverQuest, I guess.
The term “mob” is short for “mobile,”[2][4][3][13] which was used by Richard Bartle for objects that were self-mobile in MUD1.[2] The term as it exists in MMORPGs is derived from the MUD usage.[1][2] (Source code in DikuMUD uses the term “mob” to refer to a generic NPC; DikuMUD was a heavy influence on EverQuest.)[14][15] The term is properly an abbreviation rather than an acronym,[4][2] but backronyms for “MOB” such as “monster or beast,” “mere ordinary beast” and “mean old bastard” have also been coined.
What’s that strategy? I’m stucked at lvl 67 and I have a pretty decent team…
