The most overpowered move set possible?

Like he said, it is countered by stun, sleep, gravity field, knockback, barrier, piercing/other high damage, stun revenge, sleep revenge, team turn, exc. It would need to be insanely tanky to survive.

You’re right, I just wanted to see if I could make an OP move set without cloning

I did it. You can, too.

Not an op moveset, but a collection of the best moves:

Auto Overwatch: A passive so broken, it’s not even funny.

Energy charge: Heal AND prep a strong attack. What’s not to like?

Immunity as a whole: Stun is the best, then sleep, then poison in general, but exceptions exist.

Detox Blast: Might be the wrong name, op either way. Its basically a “kill any enemy without hold ground or barrier” move. Easy to counter, but you can get a pretty good combo.

Power slash: High damage, not blocked by passives. Not bad.

Auto poison+poison killer: Super high K:D ratio on average. Super rare, though…

Any instakill, such as deathstroke or heart burst: Almost guarantees a kill, and usually low TUs. Useful for obvious reasons.

Stun Flash: Not the best, but the most underrated. Makes for a pretty easy setup for any combo, or a good defense. A personal favorite.

Any clone move+any barrier move: Yet another near unbeatable combo that is super rare. Very hard to put down. I hate this one so much.

400 Second Novablast: All of the advantages of Detox Blast, none of the disadvantages. Usually paired with a tanky monster anyway, so pretty hard to stop.

Stun Converter: Like stun immunity, but better! Not much to say here. Pretty much decimates my stun revenge/clone endgame. Combine this with stun absorber, and you can pretty much hard-counter any stun team out there.

Finally, a unique move, but by far the best: Summon Elemental Guardians. Summon four max ultra evolved super rares, including Galvebane. If you can think of a single ability even close to this good, I’d like to see it.

I will update this if I find any other good moves. This can act as a sort of guide for this topic. I am not including secret moves, or any unique moves except for Summon Elemental Guardians.

We should probably move this to the Neomonsters forum.

Small advice, you can edit a comment by clicking on the three dots and then select the pencil! Unless you actually want to create a new one everytime, then it’s fine

Thanks

Sorry for the extreme necro, but this is a fun topic and I have a few ideas. Assume all monsters here are fully Awakened Mythics. You may also notice that some monsters have Secret Skills as active moves. I’ve decided to do this because A). Other people on this thread have done it before, and B). The moves I chose didn’t really feel very Secret Skill-like. It’s not like I used instant moves or anything. I also used some unique moves, but in return, I didn’t use any of the Swift Varients(Once again, because everyone else on this thread seemed to do the same)

Category 1-Infinite Clone

Floccosaurus 3.0-The Destroyer of People Who Don’t Have Good Field Effects

Max speed, high health, high defense, Max attack

Actives-
Blood Clone Next
Summon Swarm
RAW Throw
Stunt Double

Passives-
Champion Entrance
Aggressive Entrance

SS-
Shadow Clone

So this one is pretty self-explanitory. With Summon Swarm and Stunt Double, it can trigger Roaring Entrance as much as it wants. Plus, it can start two separate Infinite Clone chains, one immedietly and one at the end for backup, each of which can start two more, etc, meaning that one or two revenge or knockback moves won’t ruin it. Even Bastia isn’t a guarenteed counter due to max speed. RAW Throw is there specifically to counter monsters with troublesome field passives.

Galliodragon 2.0-Who Needs Haniwel?

Max Speed, Low Health, High defense, Max attack

Actives-
Blood Clone Next
Summon Swarm
Desperate All
RAW Toxic Killer

Passives-
Champion Entrance
Aggressive Entrance

SS-
Instant Lifeflip Friend

Like the last one, but more offense focused, and RAW Toxic Killer takes care of Auto Poison. It’s easier to counter, but will decimate the enemy lineup if they don’t do so in time.

Sentiguard 2.0-Say Goodbye to Monsters Without Stun Protection

High stats all-around

Actives-
Create Duplicate
Clone Next
Stun Flash
Desperate All

Passives-
Excessive Force
Turbulent Entrance

SS-
Shadow Clone

So, uh, yeah. Like it says in the title, this is literally unstoppable if you don’t have a LOT of stun protection, and is pretty broken even if you do. Turbulent entrance will stun enemies for huge periods of time, Stun Flash will do the same, and isn’t effected by Bastia, and three separate clone moves for a ridiculous number of separate chains. Then, on top of all of that, Desperate All and Excessive Force to completely wreck the opponent team the moment even one of them gets a turn.

Category 2-The Kings of Neo

Arborgais 2.0-Incredible Violence, Love, and Plants

Max speed, High health, max defense, high attack

Actives-
RAW Deathstroke
Summon Swarm
Sprout Conversion
RAW Bloodthirst

Passives-
Gaia Power
Rune Power

RAW Deathstroke is a free kill at max speed. RAW Bloodthirst is almost a guarenteed kill as well. Summons Swarm charges up Gaia Power and Sprout Conversion, and Rune Power combined with high Health and defense makes it hard to kill. Soon, you’ll have a whole forest of near unkillable single sweepers.

Omegawyrm 3.0-The King of the Dragons

All stats max

Actives-
Crescendo Strike
Accelerate
ELEM Healing
Boodbath

Passives-
Eternal Revival
Blood Price

SS-
400sec Prism Burst

Between Blood Price and Accelerate, this monster would be able to charge up Crescendo Strike obscenely fast. ELEM Healing would keep it alive for a long time, and Eternal Revival would keep it going after death. 400sec Prism Burst would come in handy every once in a while as well. This isn’t the most powerful monster in this thread, nor is it the most powerful monster I have made. However, considering that it doesn’t use any clone abilities, and only uses abilities from other dragons, I’d say it’s pretty good.

Category 3-Did somebody say Overpowered?!

Bahmuzar 2.0-Reverse rock lock

Max speed, High health, high defense, max attack

Actives-
Throw
Slayerbane
Summon Swarm
Create Duplicate

Passives-
Twin Entrance
Champion Entrance

SS-
Shadow Clone

On the surface, this seems like a worse version of the first monster I made. So why is it considered so op? Because, to my knowledge, it is completely unbeatable. It can just keep on summoning rockoids until the end of the universe, or until you win. Bastia? Max speed and attack plus Throw. Execute? Champion Entrance+Slayerbane. The only way I can think of that this could be beaten would be to use Bastia and a True Hit monster and a Give Turn monster on 1-2 TU before it get a clone or Duplicate

Ankoudragon 2.0-The Last Monster You’ll Ever Need

All stats max

Actives-
Create Duplicate
Backstab
LINK Deathstroke
Throw All

Passives-
Eternal Revival
Payback Revenge

SS-
Shadow Clone

And…that’s a wrap. There’s no way to beat it. Unlike other monsters I made which take advantage of infinite clone, this monster can’t be countered by clever planning, extreme luck, and use of Bastia, nor can it be ruined by bad luck or a poor decision. You would have to actively work to lose with this monster, and even then it wouldn’t be easy. Two clone abilities, plus it can revive itself upon dying, get a free kill with LINK Deathstroke, get rid of meddlsome allies with Backstab, and if you somehow find a combo that counters it, it will be quickly shut down by Payback Revenge. And, my favorite part, you can keep on using Throw All practically forever due to Payback Revenge, which will kill the throw user even though it is an ally, and then allow another of the monster to come in, at which point it will also get a turn due to max speed. If you can think of even a hypothetical situation wherein this monster could die if being used by a competant player, or if you can think of a monster with an even better moveset, then please let me know, but for now, this is, in fact, the most overpowered moveset possible

Is it safe to assume the next monsters you suggest will have both sleep immunity and insomnia as their two passives?

Whoops

It is worth noting that there are a near infinite number of ways to combine infinite clone with Eternal Revival and get a broken moveset. Alternative second passives include:

Camoflage-Get a ton of monsters that you have to kill individually

Aggressive entrance-Deal aoe damage every time a new one enters, which will probably happen a lot

Champion entrance-Just because it makes it harder to counter.

Serene Field-Disrupt the enemy’s strategy on top of getting to use your own

Immoveable-Probably the best option, as it prevents people from knocking it back, then carefully killing all of its allies so that it can’t revive

Twin entrance-Similar idea to Bahamuzar 2.0, summoning a crazy amount of rockoids to chip away at the enemy

The reason I chose Payback revenge was mostly because I wanted to show off the Throw All combo. Given that, as soon as you get 5 on the field, victory is literally guarenteed, slight optimizations to the moveset didn’t seem needed

Holy hell, some of those combos are bananas.

My only question–
Does eternal revival still trigger if the monster dies from being on the field for too long (>300s), or if it dies from a poison tick? If not, that breaks the infinite chain. Still pretty boss but not unbeatable.

If that’s the case, for “Ankoudragon 2.0” you could replace Backstab with Revival, just to keep the chain going. Or replace Eternal Revival with Haunt, which does not have the 300s limitation, but only revives at 10% health, and only with a 75% chance. Perhaps change Payback Revenge to Tholid just to keep poison/sleep/stun for being able to disrupt the chain. Although that does break one of it’s strongest abilities.

Although at this point we’re just riffing on the same theme: multiple “duplicate” abilities, some form of protection like Tholid/HG/Camouflage/Rune Power, and finally the ability to insta-death enemies through Deathstroke or a revenge ability.

Yes to both, but it doesn’t activate if it is killed my an ally, which does break the Throw All combo, but tbh I don’t think that matters too much.

That is a good idea, but that ability doesn’t work on monsters that have not already been revived, thus rendering it pointless

The fact that this has a small but nonzero chance of not working is why I didn’t use it. I wanted this to be truly unbeatable, and while it didn’t totally succeed(a combination of luck, careful planning, and a near perfect team CAN theoretically beat it), I figured that such a glaring weakness was a bit too much

Hence why I stopped. If there was demand for it, I do have a few ideas to MAYBE make a truly unbeatable monster, but after a while, it kinda gets uninteresting. This is the same reason why some of the other suggestions I made (e.g. Arborgais 2.0) were so strange. There are a million ways to make an op monster, and I have about 10 in my head right now that some may consider ni-unbeatable, but they are all fairly similar, hence the oddly niche moves
