It was clear to me that you chose Majorie because of her general theme and not her clothing, and it was an innocent “mistake”. It’s hard for me to imagine how it would make someone feel uncomfortable but that’s exactly due to cultural differences and the attitudes/interpretations that exist in them.

Cultural differences would account for a rather large number of people taking offensive to someone having the n word in their ign. That’s a similar principle as cultural sensitivity although I did misremember which term you used.

Honestly, people could create some random clan names that you could never guess and that’s what I thought might have happened.

Have you really not seen the word nig**r posted online or said out loud? If you didn’t know who I was and I made my ign “CHINK duck” would you assume I’m referring to a racial slur or give me the benefit of the doubt? Maybe that just stands for my clan name representing some of my favorite monsters: Canishogun, Houdinoid, Infernicorn, Na’turgoul, and Keeperdragon. That example seems just a bit more ridiculous than someone coincidentally making a clan named NGGR
