If you need instant help, please go over to the Discord channel, usually there are many great players around to help you building your team straight away. I got excellent help there before and found good friends too. Be sure to check it out.
I have been playing the game for almost a month now. I litteraly knew nothing about this game before playing so i used my gems to draw 20 times before learning that i had to save my gems until 500(currently have 168 gems) So i have some legendary and a mythic that i got from a rare gold egg do you have any advice for my team? and what monsters should i focus on?

Please post all your monsters in screenshots here, especially your mythic and legendaries. If you’re rather new, also post your 5 star monsters.
If you need help very quickly, be sure to head over to the Neo Monsters Discord. There you can get immediate help, but still you need to show your monsters. There are really helpful players over there and it’s much more easy to interact in Discord for teambuilding.
You also need to tell which event you want to have a team for, a PvP team is different to a Dungeon Challenge team.

Maybe I can help … Your lineup will go like this:
Hu shin
Sturgeonedus
Octopus with axes ( you can replace with spinorex , he also goes well with banedragon. There should be no problem in including him , since you will have almost 13 to 14 cost left to include another legendary)
Dolphreeze( evolve it and replace with the violet two headed dragon beside spinorex )
Runedragon for accelerate and decent damge.(evolve it , and replace it with cw . Cws are weak without their entire family and boss )

Demonfox
A random stunner or especially low cost poison inflecting mon , doesn’t need to be legendary or a superepic , the basic ones , for easy charging of banedragon
Therefore your total cost needed will be : hu(12)+sturgeo(16)+rune(13)+fox(16)+octopus(13)+bane(16)+charydia(16)+random poison inflicted(2 or 3)+dolphreeze(13) = 117 . If I leave stunner out , it comes down to 113 or 114. You can switch of bane’s ss as it is the same as sturgeo , who needs it more . So cost comes down to 110 . You can level up 3 more levels , I believe.
I guess , you’ll have leveled up before seeing this post , so adjust likewise .
To include more powerful ones , level up more and grind in hero rank .
