The problem is that there is a mythic meta at the moment, you can be unlucky and mostly encounter mithic spam, so sometimes the best team of your monsters can bring something.
One of the biggest problems is Prixis.
I think I’ll mostly play gravity + time stop combined with a little death revenge.
If I were you, I would definitely go with link water plus the rest on full stun imu
I need guidance on a few questions. I am a casual and can’t give much time to the game, so my questions are mostly PVE focused. Basically i want something low effort high reward or some cheese strat.
Which legendary or mythic to ultra evolve first?
The ones in my mind are momo, hanzowolf, angelion and geartyrant.
Need help forming a team for PVE.
How does the 6 star form of Momo compare to top legendaries?
Any other noteable monsters i should look out for? (1-3 stars, reward monsters from online missions like chronox and bitterbeast, or even upcoming banners)
Any tips on which online missions to complete first or what to spend tickets on priority-wise?
Other tips you would like to give a beginner such as mistakes to avoid. (I know about the shrine and only pulling on festival eggs)
Is this the most active forum? Any other resource than the wiki since its incomplete.
Also, whats with the waifus in a monster game lmao?
Sorry if this isn’t the correct place to post, i tried to find the most appropriate thread I felt.

I’d say Angelion for versitility.
Need help forming a team for PVE. Gear we’ll help the events where it’s too difficult to kill monsters usually.

Excellent stun protection. Will just be a bit slow. But having a stun counter that’s tanky and can attack is worth it. I’d target her after Angel personally.

All of the Rockoid variants are decent. Bitter is a great absorber when you’re starting out. Chrono for sure, but that can take a while I guess. I also liked the 4 star butterfly for purify and give turn.

The monster missions to build your collection, but check if they’re worth it. Whatever gives you the most gems should be done first. Make your way through the story and play the limited events where you can.

Spread stun protection and purify throughout your team. There are really good guides on the forum. KD’s are good.

There is a discord server too. It’s very active. There are also clans you could join. But they’re more or less just group chats as the game doesn’t support them.
Also, whats with the waifus in a monster game lmao?
As others said; angelion and momo are both very strong and versatile. I’d also point out geartyrant, it’s a team by itself in PVE if you bring the right control monsters (use 1on1 to sleep enemies etc.)
Not sure, if I think of something will let you know
6 star momo is not much below the awakened version; it’s as good as a high tier legendary, very good
4.There’s a guide floating around for capturing a 6 star in the wild (noxdragon). Takes a bit of time, but a legendary that’d work well with bitterbeast, demontoad & geartyrant is a nice bonus.
Constantly progressing the online story is a good source of gems, make sure to do all side missions for a big boost once you can?
Start collecting hp boosts from daily missions once your max tickets makes it possible! I’ve only started recently and wish I’d started sooner, although this only matters for PVP
Yes. Discord is good but this forum is more structured, to put it one way
thanks a lot for taking the time to answer! really appreciate the detailed answer. Just one question, for pve, is poison more effective or are blood moves more consistent?
Thanks for the tips, i’ll surely keep them in mind. Only if i had discovered this game when i was a teenager i would’ve definitely grinded so hard lmao. I guess I’ll go capture Noxdragon first then. Is it a one time chance or can it reappear if i fail the first time?
To be perfectly honest with you, you have far FAR better legendaries than Noxdragon. Yes, it’s a freebie, but that doesn’t make it good imo. You have more than enough firepower and things to work on evolving (basically all your legends currently should be focused on evolving instead of Noxdragon).
Obviously this is my opinion, but it also happens to be my correct opinion and I’m sticking to it lol. Ingredients are hard to come by early on, id rather someone not waste them on Noxdragon if I can help it.
Poison drops off as soon as you get to the harder content. Most poison monsters don’t do enough damage. There are exceptions of course. Blood moves and piercing moves are mostly what you want. For example, Angelion will perform very well with raw bloodfury, while Momo in 2nd form will struggle with faststrike (it has low attack stat) but if it’s awakened it becomes fastbreaker which easily piercing one-shots enemies.
I highly recommend you get Mantisamurai as soon as you can. It’s from evolving a 0* monster (Mantisword) and it’s extremely powerful. It’s also something that can be built around easily for PvE content.
I plan to do a re-write of this soon to update it and give some clearer advice, but it probably has some useful things for you: KD's New Players Guide
Hi there!!
I’m three weeks in too the game and I would like some tips in building for both PvE so I can get loads of gems and PvP too.
With that is have some questions to ask:
1 In my collection which monster should I focus on ultra-evolve?
2 How should I use Plumesilisk so it works properly once I think I am doing something wrong…
3 Is my sleep-poison team reliable? Cuz some times I fell like they go over each other…
4 Which monsters in my collection should I use for PvP and which ones for PVE?
5 Ah and will dreadgar be of good use for the next PvP season since there is no restriction on Mythics?
