playing hanieri in link storm is risky. though i imagine that if you swap her and gloreonix ypu will do better. Tezcas gravity field will completely block gloreonix as things stand. thats assuming you get enough rocks to swap glor out in the first place. also using carapascas underling there is really odd. i get the idea of why you did it but i imagine it doesn’t work often. have you tried swapping your team around so you use earth before storm?
btw if you are a relatively new player this team actually isn’t that bad an attempt. 6 months ago it would even probably be a high finishing team. people have a lot more stun protection and tankier monsters now. i find its good to mix up your team strategies a little bit just in case something fails. I’m not known as a top PvP player but i know some people fear facing me simply because my teams are often “random”. for example I’ll use a little bit of stun but ill also have a sleep monster or a one that can ensure my other strategies stay alive long enough to get going through purify or give turn.
i also notice that you have carmilla benched which is just madness since she offers so much even in second form.
defensively you have a decent amount of stun protection however you lack a tankier monster or something with hold ground that can stop an enemy from sweeping. (carmilla would work)
i imagine that if an opponent has a stun converter half of your team is instantly wiped because there is nothing slowing it down.
I’m bad in teambuilding, and I still don’t know your monsters, but I would make sure to think about the following points.
Astrogolem is an awesome endliner in a throw team, but without his recharge rocks, he’s quite inefficient, he needs to be very behind in the team.
The moth, if that’s the throw moth, probably has no throw fodder if she don’t succeed the good transformation, so far at the back, she could be placed more frontwards.
Gloreonix can only trade for Moji if you’re have reinforcements left. If you have enough rocks, that’s OK, if not, how to use that move? And that recurring stun entrance is his biggest advantage.
Torrentide will probably interfere into the throw reinforcements.
idk if u are still stuck or completed or left the game .
Try capture nightlord , delukhan (the nightrider combo) .
use them in fl along with a rockoid nd any stun abs , follow tht with a leronix nd a some give turn mons from islands .
now this is for the first 8 mons .
The remaining 8 need to support your legendaries/sweepers in your case u r kinda lucky with mantiferno (a perfect 2nd form sweeper) nd bunkerbeast .
so start ur remaining setup with stun bursts (capturable frm islands) proceed fr mantiferno then finish it with a toad (enrage) , your 2 mortar mons and gt and galvboss .
Hey I would really appreciate if some of the more experienced people could help me team building. I can evovle all the non evolved 4/5 star mons in the list if needed
You should definitely evolve Djinzar, Sunlord, The yellow flutterdrake and Blossomight. They’re good super epics. Djinzar even helps with buffed enemies because it has a guaranteed killer move. Chronox is also good when evolved.
As a general tip, try to have a stun absorber/counter monster every 4 spots in your team to avoid getting stunned. Also watch for your monsters’ entrance passives, if a monster has a useful entrance, don’t put it in the frontline.
Using a stun cloner like Frostknight is helpful at the end of a team because AI has trouble to deal with stun cloners.
Just moving your post to an existent thread! Also, can you send screenshots of what monsters you faced in this battle? Send screenshots of your monster list too, so I can help you to beat this mission.
link shadow team. - use Shiny Aurodragon, Demontoad (enrage auro), Ankoudragon, Bitterbeast (unless you have a better shadow stun absorber). Shinobidragon, Gremrawris, Gaiawolf, Horrorclaw, Nefariodon, Carnofrost (spam unwanted tokens which nulltron can execute to charge raw bloodthirst) Blitzdragon (maybe), Nulltron, Thordragon, Heavenshorn (remember it can clear tokens and make a stun absorber if necessary), Scarleguard, bullbrazen (or mantisamurai), low cost throw monster (my favourites are humboss who can sleep all and dreamhunt which will work well if shinobidragon retreats and Firequeen who again can sleep all or add a bunch of rockiods - if u use mantisamurai it will activate bug union also. low cost heal all or give turn works also).
remember that its usually better to keep a monster asleep and sweep the awake ones. this team should work well in PvE and low Level PvP. ogremaster is another option to consider slotting in somewhere mid-end as a counter to poison.
