Tardigenerade usefulness..?

I just want to know how it’s most effective, if someone has few opinions , please do share.

It laughs at puny poison tick

The only thing thay deals less than 600 damage in this 1 shot meta

Hes okay, well balanced monster.

How ?

That’s the only interesting thing. He can’t be killed by poison tick

Really good defence stats.
Give turn.
Cant be taken out by low tu moves like posion touch, leach etc.
I can see him pairing with stun converters and counters

No monster can one shoot him without exssive force. Gyo cant one shoot him

It’s water type dude

He will not one shoot him all the time 4k +health

Well you said “cant” in your post. You should change it to “might not”

Those stats are useless tbh, speed is slow to do anything & it needs 150 seconds for its secret Skill plus it’s cost 16, which makes no sense.
Poison touch/leech is not the meta here,

Protect guys are just rare breed tbh, why release one,
Like we have raw monsters, which are being released to stop the spam of protection in teams which makes PvP fluid in a way,
And this guy (tardigenerade) is just idk trash at best,
I think given my playstyle , I really don’t like it as I like fast pace gameplay, as this cost 16 trashgenerade requires 150 seconds & 300 seconds for a move which has huge recoil and it’s a chrono food (with protect) which is just too much of a setback.

It needs TIME for its movesets, which is not possible when there are so many Delugazar, Dolph , shadow, chromera, robin, and just don’t say gyo can’t one shot it -_-

Any monster with 36hp might survive gyo full health overconfident strike but anything lower will be killed.

I would love to see you using it thou.

It’s not really for PvP so much. Lower speed, no offensive move for quite a while. I think the only place it will be good in PvP are teams which utilise its survivor all well. If you can, say, pull off a successful OoO then it has a 50TU kill one enemy move and survivor all which you can use 2-3 times to wipe out the enemy team if you can give turn to it.

Where it’s very good is in PvE, where you can use it as an effective wall that does good things each time it gets a turn. Have a way to heal it and the enemies can have a hard time getting past it. Maybe Heavens+Tardi might be a usable combo in PvP too but hard to say.

I’m very impressed with the survivor all damage. It’s enough to one-shot the vast majority of things. It’s very worth using for that in PvE teams.

Also, this is the first water legendary that’s a protector.

I think that Tardigrenade would have been better as a mythic. Making it a super tank with higher health would mean it works well enough as a wall to be worth considering for PvP.

I can’t get past the way the thing looks. Please tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this

Honestly, if it had taunt and removing GT with something else will make it so much better.

It’s not fast, so you can’t abuse it + it’s cost 16,. Why it’s even cost 16, like in comparison of cost 16 monsters , angelion, magma, onigeist, Oni, geo, malwing, utopion, dusciyon, penguinator, I know these are PvP type , heck even cost 15 pve :. Chronotitan, gear, talok, Apollo, Auro, are better.

I just don’t think making it a mythic would be better option,
Devs won’t reveal anything about 7tickets,

for my play style it’s perfect :joy: but in general not too great a mon

Not every monster can have taunt.
Not all pvp matches need to be “fluid” whatever that means. Passive style of play should be promoted just like aggressive, so pvp can be unpredictable.
It’s nice to see protectors are still being released. This one is interesting, offers a new passive. Time will tell which niche he will fit.

Just checked out the recoil from survivor all and it’s made me re-think the monster. The recoil is 1/7 which means it too easily kills itself, especially when going up against buffed monsters in PvE. You need it on near full health to use the move and survive. It’s practically a megabomb and to be honest you may as well use the recent SE if you want to do a big hit all repeatedly.

I know it’s early to say but I feel like this monster would do better either being tweaked into a more PvP-oriented monster or having the recoil turned down to 1/12 or 1/16 so you can use it more easily. I’d be happy with it being a cool PvE sweeper that can work with some healing and give turn (the recoil reduction option).

It was a general thing for me to say if it had taunt , not like demanding it to have taunt.

I don’t think I can explain fluid PvP to you either, when you get to top 50, you’ll understand.

Yea most definitely passive style should be promoted, any style is welcomed but me saying if it had taunt & it requires 150 seconds & 300 to do anything other than support, is it aggressive style ???

The problem with trashgenerade is,

Is it a support or offensive monster?
You have a gt guy which basically can’t do anything other than GT unless , 150 & 300 seconds are up, and since it can protect teammates, chances of it dying is pretty high before it does anything, and even it survives , the cost of making it work is just too much with a whole setup required which is way worse as you can’t make it work in high level of PvP or pve, as recoil is just too much.
Maybe pve it can work but one or 2 attacks and that’s it.

I like his passives, all the other stuff he got are just out of sync.

Monkey is right, a protector shouldnt have survivor (especially not a protector without healing).

Its true that he’s weak to both protector and chrono killer, which is a huge drawback, but it doesnt stop aegis, titan, lord and mistle (and grovo with SS) to be meta. Its not his real problem. His real problem is his out-of-sync moveset. There is no reason to use him at all. There are better give turners, better protectors and better sweepers out there.
