I’m pondering to farm the super rares, however I’d like to know if those arks have to be weaken to have the 100% chance to catch them. Or any suggestions to properly farm them. I already knew about the Metallodious strategy for escape and it works well. Thank you for answering
for the super rares, I use my lowest ark to hit it with then catch it… 
Catch a plasmo because it only does six damage
Or just use a seaspine around lvl 15. If it gets too powerful, catch another. Alternatively seaquills work too. Use higher lvl arks for your first three, making one a sacrificial ark, and then sacrifice that ark when you get the rare spawn and use the weaker lvl to attack.
When I farm super rares, I always use gold. After farming for a few hours, it is worth a dollar to insure capture. Also the devs have to eat and thanks to my contributions, Ryan is able to have lunch more often.

I think after you beat the game and have a lot of lvl 99 arks it’s like 97-100 percent chance for hatchlings and starters with full health! Pretty good odds without worrying about weakening it
Just 97% unfortunately. xP But it’s high enough. The 3% is very real, though, and I know a few people who actually hit it.
