Strategy 101 for fun

Just gonna start this here as thread not based on a full comprehensive guide, but literal community input on teams the community likes to use. It’s not limited to pvp or pve, simply just strategies that work, worked or in theory could work if a new specific monster moveset is released.

I will try to show an example along with the idea of how that particular part was supposed to work

The following is a frontline mostly for PvE, but nonetheless powerful.

Scyberithe Wickerchap Wraithhost Bundam Deviladus.

The idea is that bundam and Utopion are given the chance for their novablast and novabomb to trigger, while Deviladus enters to mark all opponents with death sentence after Wickerchap uses sendback on itself, since it is just barely faster than Scyberithe.

Scyberithe would then use duel, which would increase the tu of all other monsters except itself and one opponent while giving everyone affected by duel to gain overwatch. In PvE, this is a very powerful setup since only a select few monsters would be able to defeat Deviladus before death sentence triggers. Due to the timing of duel and Deviladus’ entrance, by the time an opponent affected by duel would have a turn it would get killed on its turn if left alone till its turn.

Then, immediately following those deaths, Bundam’s novablast would be available and most likely next in the turn order for another immediate 4 mons killed, for a total of 8 so far in short order, especially if bundam used Terminator form before Scyberithe used duel.

(Shiny) Utopion would then be able to use Link 250 novabomb for another maximum 4 kills, due to being in link with Deviladus and Scyberithe.

This frontline can reliably kill 12 monsters from an opposing team regardless of difficulty. It isn’t without weaknesses, but reliable enough that it can be used as a frontline for some pve levels you could be struggling with, especially in hellmode.

Anyways, this is an open invite to post some of your favorite teams that you have come to use during pvp or pve that isn’t necessarily “meta”, but certainly potent enough to be recognised.
