Stealth vs Aoe Poison

Hey all , most of you might already have an idea of what this post might be !

Poison outright counters stealth .

So I think stealth should cancel moves like toxic entrance , poison revenge and not just poison gas and double poison touch . This way stealth might have another chance to make a comeback .

Also this could potentially be another mechanic of the very few that can deal with poison frontlines.

Note : Stunning entrances are directly countered by stun counters . So I believe even stealth should directly counter poison entrances and revenges.

Also purifying mist should purify poison and apply stealth that cancels aoe poison 1 TIME until stealth is reapplied .

But poison touch overrides stealth since it’s a single target spell

It’s good as it’s… stealth has good support like Purifying mist … stealth gift…etc

Stealth plus - stealth is not removed by poison tick :wink:

I reckon Stealth X. Get a monster in stealth for 300 seconds and you win the game and 74 gems from your opponent.

Yes! And if they don’t have Gems it’s their top 4 legends.

I thought they’d drain their bank account directly, but that idea sounds fine too.

Why keep a monster in stealth only for 300 seconds , give it camouflage and sneak attack skills .

Stealth is really good against lots of things. I don’t really see why it should avoid the thing that counters it. Purifying mist and monsters like Zhulong with poison immunity already help deal with poison as its counter.

In Evertale some stealth attack moves nullify the revenge passive of the enemy. That’s quite a cool idea, but here we have them bypassing protectors so that’s their special bonus.

This logic has me perplexed. You’re basically saying “Stun has a counter, so therefore I believe stealth should be able to disabled its counter”.

I meant like stun revenges and entrances can be stopped by using their counters . Death revenges can be stopped by shield. But there isn’t an effective way to stop poison revenges and poison entrances except to keep a purify ready . But that doesn’t seem optimal . So I thought stealth should cancel out poison revenge . After all I could be in stealth out of toxic range …

True, but if you do purify after poison revenge then that almost completely undoes the effect. Also, stun revenge and death revenge have a much bigger impact on a battle if they aren’t countered.

Stealth doesn’t avoid any passives, so I don’t think they should complicate that by it avoiding poison passives. Also, if anything is going to counter poison passives I don’t think it should be stealth. Poison is an intentional counter to stealth. That would be like making the shield added from load mortar be a special shield that can’t be pierced through.
