no restriction list? hmm very interesting, it will favor a certain category of players more than anything else, but hey I preferred to see it rather than speculate, as long as there is no useless nerf

I hope you, not recreate something similiar like Anniversary 6th (that Will leading on unnecessary limit list and nerf) Take example All gf, All Dolphins, or All horses stun converter in anniversary . If that happen, Season 61-62 gonna crazy

The bigger the restriction list, the more I find it benefits whales with big accounts, because they have so many alternative options to them.
New players may be unaffected too because they don’t have enough monsters in the first place.
It’s the players in the middle who get hit the hardest. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

Totally agree, I have a fairly large account and while it’s annoying having to sub it different units, if I wanted to make a very strong team the restrictions list would not affect me as much as someone that rolled for a couple strong units that are now restricted

You’re all excited but just wait when season 61 gets announced and it’s got a special rule all season of “no monsters with stun absorb passives” followed by season 62 with “all mythics have 1.5x stats” 
I think 1 season without restriction would have been fine for a start! But I am not complaining.
I have to disagree. I loved the restriction where only super epics where allowed showing me that most whales are lost without there awakened mythics and +9 legendarys.

Lemon is talking about the restriction list (monsters limited to 1 or 2), not special rules. Special rules are a mixed bag and you’re right that it’s fun to have a heavily restricting one occasionally that gets everyone on a more level playing field.

Sadly I don’t think he achieved quite that high. He got top 50 with a team of all SEs a few years ago. If I remember correctly, the team mostly revolved around the flutterdrakes as the win condition (clover doing sleep lock/control played a big part)
