Terrorfish is my first OM and I did it today. At the checkpoints I would teleport out and heal and then go back in, and the mission was how I left it. Am I wasting a bunch of tickets? Should I just try to go through the whole thing? I ended up getting the terrorfish as well as a 4th scallo from the mission egg.

Honestly, once you build up a steady and reasonable pile, it doesn’t matter.
It’s only two tickets anyway and you get a max of 60 free tickets if you’re short on tickets
A lot of people leave at each checkpoint to heal their strongest monsters. 20 seconds healing is going to be faster than fighting with your weaker arks. As far as tickets, you can always claim free tickets if you drop under 60. It takes a little time for them to build up but not much.

Well, if you are out of tickets you can buy 60 for 100gold.
…but you really don’t need to buy tickets when they give 60 for free
