Pvp is open for a month and resets all players at the start of the next month. You get your rewards based on the badge you obtained not by how many wins you won. This way it encourage people to play instead of getting to 60 wins then deranking to just play against weaker opponent’s for next pvp.
Example:
The badges are just faces of characters we have in the game (trainers).
Eliane 1-100 (2 gems + fruit)
Thale 101-200 ( 2 gems + fruit + epic potion)
Sabrina 201-300 ( 2 gems + fruit + super epic potion + 2 epic potion)
To be honest it sounds like a normal pvp ranking with faces of familliar trainers
Imo just make every pvp a ranked one, with the reward they have (or change it a bit doesnt matter)
But it is available all month and rewards not by wins are by points which makes the game more compatitve because people want to win and get higher points in return they will get better rewards but right now once you reach 60 you just either give up or derank yourself for easy wins.
I actually prefer the pvp as an event. As a permanent thing it will always float above your head. You will have to push for a whole month, while there are another events, to maintain at the top, and then again and again. It will remove the fun out of it. The “event” idea is ment to keep the boring side of the game out - each time something different (uc, island, pvp…), and each time theres a different strategy, team and gameplay. That what keep the interest for me at least, and a permenant thing will destroy it.
Completely agree,but the period of events are not logical.
SCB can be done in 3-4 hours so give it maximum 2 days is enough( for those who needs to build team for it) and make IC and SOTF a bit longer,IC since most people will miss draft or because of bad draft And SOTF because everyone know,it needs more time.
UC and PvP are great but because of new system in ST,it maybe needs one more day.
Yeah it should be permanent. I find it very boring at times just trying to get to 60 wins and then on top of that in 5 days!! Like you find yourself just playing the game all day just to get the prizes. I also agree with LR cry that a ranking point prizes is a good idea which aids people to get high rank. But like u said people just lose to play lower rank people. But the problem that is find that the reward for fighting a guy at 800 battle points is the same as fighting a guy at 200 battle points. After the hard work of winning there’s nothing to show for it.
Some people need more days to complete the SCB such as new players. As when I first started the game you had to change your team numerous times to get a winning formula.

Top 50 Crown + 5 gems + 3 rare gems + 1 legendary potion

Rest of the players get 1 gem + 2 epic potions
I like the idea… it motivates more on reaching higher scores than make the more wins as possible. I believe this will encourage all to be better and prices are still nice for all.
That’s true… maybe a week on, a week off… and to make it more interesting (trying to avoid the same faces winning always) adding special rules like cost, monsters not allowed (just that time), just specific elements monsters, etc.
special rules are definitely needed, the different costs make no difference to the teams being used , 173 is just a budget version of people 206 teams , with special rules ruling out certain mons it will add alot more variety to teams and will require players to build their own unique teams
I agree… but I believe with different cost (mainly lower) encourage to pick wisely the legends you will use and gives a chance to those players with a lower hero level to compete along higer hero levels. If you combine rules, such as cost, number of monsters, type of monsters, not allowed monsters, etc… things will become interesting
yeah have a mixture sometimes sometimes just limit mons and sometimes just limit cost etc make it so every PvP there’s something different so then there’s more variety and it’s not then just about the legends you have
So I’ve been thinking, I’m not sure how many of you play Pokémon or know of smogon what we could create is a smogon/Neo tier system
Uber ou uu etc
And have Pvp based off that
We as a community can decide what goes where buck has given us a amazing starting point with his rank list the positions will be based of how much a monster is used the teirs can change every month slightly so we can use fresh monsters and the meta can shift without the need to nerf anyone
And I’m sure we have amazing web designers here that could create such a website list a true Neo web page to help new players share how best to use a monster etc
