Ranked Monster Reward

@Dev_VKC Is it possible to reduce the number of Battles?
I don’t think 360 is feasible to get the monster in ranked? Its actually very hard to get for newcomers.
Maybe reduce it to killing 180 mons in whole of ranked?
In ranked many people actually don’t stick around till the end anyways to preserve battle time which affects the outcome. Which is why i am making this request of reducing the number of monsters killed to be 180 or so.

I paid attention to my own results this weekend. I seem to average 8-9 kills per battle. So it takes 40-45 battles. That seems like quite a few to me!

That said, I don’t think the Dev’s intention is to make getting the monster easy. They’ve simply made it a fair playing field for everyone to obtain it but people need to do the majority of the battles possible over the weekend to get enough kills for the monster.

I was grinding on a new account, the grind seems really hard for newcomer imo.
And it seemed to be like i was doing 3-5 mons kill on avg since newcomers/usual opponents don’t stick too long to continue and see through the match. I think it took me 40+ wins on 45~50% win rates. And the matches where i was losing it was really lopsided. I barely killed 1-2 mons in those teams…

What he is saying does not apply to us, many of the new players would randomly face someone out of there bracket range and would not be able to kill one monster

shouldn’t you be managing 16 per battle? :joy:

do tokens count? eg if you add shells/rocks/vineyes to the opponent team does it work towards monster count?

i think it does…
but maybe somebody else can confirm it as well.

I got the last one and this one at the end of day 1. So with 3 days of rank it should be easy to get it.

ye ive got it and only played 40 battles. probably took around 30. and my winrate is pretty awful tbh.

These numbers don’t add up at all. You’ve clearly got something wrong. Can’t really take your points seriously with this.

Kind of more of a matchmaking issue, but yeah if that happens too much it will mean weaker players have a harder time getting kills.

No, because many people leave the match early.

A change I’d really like to see is when the opponent loses you automatically get the rest of their team added to your kill count. That would also help weaker players if it’s quite common for people in that league to surrender very early (as Lacktwo says).

My experience after 2 seasons is, if you cut out the quitters that exit after 0 to 4 moves, 25 to 35 battles.

If you’re running a token spam team, you’ll definitely manage it faster than without.

I like the new system. There is no pressure and as long as you play, no matter win or defeat, you can gain the reward. It takes effort, that’s what VKC mentioned, but it’s possible for everybody I think, maybe not with HR30, but a player playing the game for 3 month should already have the team to make it, I’m sure Noxdragon enrage with Bitterbeast and Demontoad FL and an average team can already be strong for PvP in early gameplay.

As long as it is a reward, it is inevitable that a certain amount of effort is required. Up until now, the rewards were based on rankings, so we needed to win. However, now even if we don’t win, there is a chance that we can get it if we fight a lot, so conditions are now good for beginners.
The developer said that more people are getting it than with the original ranking reward, so I guess this system is working.

On the other hand, if I had to express my opinion, I think it would be good if these rewards were added to the exchange monster for 6 star tickets at some point. This is because I think it would be a good thing to increase the options for people who couldn’t participate in this tournament or those who couldn’t defeat 360 monsters to get them later.

Yeah I think they always release these monsters later on in other events or the shop, so that shouldn’t be a problem

You should get rewarded if the opponent surrender.
This is good behavior so nobody waste anyones time and the winner get the remaining monsters counts. Even if they dc’d you, you still get the remaining monsters counts as well.

20 or 20+ battles and i got monster :upside_down_face:

There are around 1000 users who had 360+ kills in this ranked PvP.
We are willing to make the reward monster more accessible to players, targeting around 1500 or even 2000 users. Therefore, we will lower the kill requirement to 300 for the next PvP event.

I think numbers about wins were abt right, i could be a bit off about the mons i am killing in wins and losses. I even had another account where i wasn’t able to grind courtesy of not having a proper evo’d team.

I averaged 6.5 per match, gave up after about 25 tickets of this. People kept leaving early or even instantly, and I i actually got more kills on the few matches I lost that 90% of the ones I won
