PvP restriction poll - how much are you affected?

What a nice analysis. Amazing how much effort and thought is behind this!

Maybe it’s a case of

You’re easier to please than most!

That’s what she said.

It seems appropriate to me, as long as it is true and the list is kept without suspending any of this, but I must say that I love the idea especially 1

I wish it wasn’t a set limit, that it was a list of units that had a certain point value, and you got a total of ___ amount of points. That way you can use two limited, or one L and two SL, or 4SL, etc. that type of system. It could even vary based on legend, IE valza being 3, where as vigzariad is 5 and your max cost is say 15

Yeah that’s a great variant on the current system. It might be better but I’m hesitant because perhaps it would tend to be too flexible for players. There’s something to be said about the current simplicity too. Definitely worth the Devs considering.

Imo Better than outright saying pick one of 7 and 2 of 10 or whatever the numbers are currently. It allows people to chose who they most value and if that means a scorp and an infernocorn, I say let em. Means no vig. It seems to be a nice middle ground where high tier units are restricted but you can still chose whoever you want off of any list, either more great units or a couple amazing ones.

Yeah, I get it. Something like…
Max points 10 and make things cost 5, 3 or 2.
So the current (1) restricted things all cost 5 and the (2) are either 3 or 2.

It gives the players more flexibility in how they want to select from the restricted list. I just wasn’t entirely sure whether that’s a good or bad thing for the list achieving what it’s planning.

Thinking about it again I reckon that is a good improvement. It still forces people to use other monsters, just opens up the the combinations from their collection a bit better. The only major downside I can see is how it complicates things a bit more.

Basically my thoughts. Less restrictive while still forcing variety. One way to make it less confusing is to make it a filter I suppose, and they could just update the filter each time it changes
