I’ve been doing OM’s since terrorfish, and have all of them except for roidguard and vortexor (I’m not mad I missed those because they’re kicking my butt in pvp). Anyway, I’m looking for some lineup help. Currently, it stands as this:
Maybe I’m not using them correctly, but if anyone has any input in the lineup or tricks to using these guys I’d really appreciate it. I have the other OM’s but I’ve not been able to use them very well.
How the crqp are people getting all these OM arks? Are they that easy to get now?
Anyways,Ive heard to put Giga in the back,Grem is pretty good at front.Seperate Elements if you can.Metallodious is good by Chopper or Raioh,to keep them alive.Thats just from my experience though. Also,Omega near back, its a great clean-up monster, and heavy-hitter.
Ask some of the other huge pvpers though,I dont know much.
They’re fairly easy to get, but in my opinion the best OM’s were gotten before I started doing them or they’re eggsclusive. I have terrible luck with eggs, and have never gotten anything useful.
I used to put giga in back, but then people focus him and he dies pretty quick. In front he can OHKO a lot of arks.
As for Grem, how do I use him correctly in front? I’ve never been a big fan, but I like him with cyberwyrm.
Thanks for the advice! A little reasoning behind why is what I’m looking for too
Grem is great in front because of all the options it provides… Haste and Knockback help you set the tempo and control the matchups and time strike is an awesome attack when your opponent has high tu arks in. It also serves as a guardian in a way because most pvp players want it out ASAP so they will attack it and stun skin buys a bit of time against one ark.
Vengeance does work but it may appear less effective if the ark your attacking is buffed… My guess would be you are attacking a reinforced ark and it just seems like the vengeance boost didn’t work.
Ahh ok. So you think Grem would be good with metalodious and chopper bug?
And when I have giga, would it be worth it to throw in golgemios with it in the back of the lineup.
That sounds about right with omega. I’ve probably been hitting buffed arks. So you’re saying it counts the dead arks whether the skill stipulates it has or not.
Sorry - I meant the second paragraph to be a question.
I would keep an aoe ark like arkwing or triphoon in the front with grem and metallodious but keep in mind that metal slashers are everywhere now so I would suggest osiriswyrm over metallodious
Giga is really dependent on one of two things… If you have any arks at the end to sacrifice and if there is any earth arks in the opponents line up. In my opinion it’s tough to get a chance to use it properly. But if you can put it towards the back and get halopard in your lineup near it and golgemios then you can do some major damage.
Yeah I would love Osiris or even subzera up there as a tank, but I don’t have those arks. That disappointment is a different story though haha.
I’ll put ark wing up front and see how it goes. Where would I put chopper then? Does it have a place anymore if not in front?
I definitely agree that it’s hard to use giga properly, I’ll put him in back again and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice! I’ll post back with results
I was also thinking, since my biggest fear is a triphoon, vortexor, chopper/raioh combo, would it be wise to have some sort of earth trio behind my first 3 or 4 arks? That way if those three do show up, which they do way more frequently than I like, I have some sort of defense before I bring cryo out and ruin my chances of winning
Yeah it’s not a bad idea to have golgemios, giga, and maybe mechadino as your second three in case a vortexer vanishes your first three. Then you can still scramble if need be and take full advantage of ally earth.
So it would look like…
Arkwing
Grem
Metallodious
Mechadino
Golgemios
Gigarock
Raiho
Cryo
Octo
Angelon
Cyber
Nilo
Magma
Halopard
Omega
Just added some suggestions in bold. As you can see, to implement these changes, you would need to get rid of a few arks, but I’m positive it would perform better than without some of them.
id actually put raioh between octo and cryo, so that octo uses an aoe for stun gift, while mettalo only has single target. plus, if its killed, cryo comes out and opponent is stunned
Whoa… Alright looks like my lineup was definitely lacking some strategy haha. Thanks guys! I’ll try a few combos out.
As for saphireon, I have around 35K points so I’m pretty far away from getting it. How do you get so many points? Do you just have to pvp endlessly? I’ve got about a 60% win ratio, but it’s probably mostly lower level brackets
Depends, there are a few flaws with the strategy, but i fixed them in the above quote. The problem is that you only have one ark with a speed at 20+ in your first three. You want arks that’ll go before your opponents in the beginning, so that if your opponent has troublesome arks, you can take them out before they get a move in. I’d suggest at least two arks with a speed over 20, with one ark being 17+.
Having angelon so close to Halopard is a little redundant, Halopard can do what angelon does by itself, so angelon may be better off after gigarock, or you could take it out altogether.
Ahh ok, I see I need faster arks in front for the first hit advantage. Cyber and Grem have worked well together to avoid vortexor, which is nice.
After having guardiron, what do you think about halo and angelon? I agree they’re redundant close together. So maybe guardiron’s ally holy is good enough with just one other holy?
They could work together if its for guardiron, angelon could just attack and use haste sometimes after Halopard uses reinforce. A buffed guardian is hard to kill.
Yeah that could be a possibility. I’ll try that too! I wish I had pegasion and SS though, or even astroleon because I like how he looks.
Update on the PvPing: I faced an opponent with an SS and chill queen up front and I think I made some good decisions. Just barely won even without those OM’s. Cyber and Grem up front are helping a lot
