My head hurts
I personally donât like ranked during weekends. But it make sense as itâs best for most people. 4 days is too much pressure for me especially when you lose by stupid mistakes.
Yeah I can understand that for sure!
I object, once a month pvp is very reasonable. I donât have time to play rank 2 times a month. and the division of rewards is absurd . Dev is doing a great job of giving limit lists, this improves a lot of tactics and is a positive direction for the game.
Yes, this is what I think as well. Now if they are willing to double the rewards I wouldnât mind lol
Would you be happy if the rewards kept the same for both? Then just play the one that suits you
Exactly! No downside then
So Lemon, your logic is that it is fine that placing well in every PvP event requiring more effort is fine because not everyone would have to play. But that would also mean that the people who do play every time would gain WAY more rewards than people who donât, thus making it a choice:
Skipping ranked means allowing others to gain a large number of rewards, thus decreasing your chances of doing well in the future
Not skipping ranked means spending twice as long playing for what may well be the same rewards.
Do you see the problem here? The amount of grinding would actually be INCREASED(and the amount of creativity decreased) for players who actually want to stay competitive, and the amount of fun for more casual players(or just any players who donât want to lose sleep 6 days a month) would be DECREASED, because skipping PvP for the same amount of time now means that those who didnât gained twice as much progress relative to you. And before you say it, this logic STILL applies if you half the rewards, because decreasing rewards just means that player who grind wouldnât gain AS MUCH of a lead, not that they wouldnât gain one at all
Before you intentionally misinterpret this as me misunderstanding you, I meant RELIABLY placing high in PvP(~top 50)
I think everyone agrees they wouldnât want rewards halved, so letâs look at if they remained the same for both PvP.
Yeah it means people miss rewards, if they donât play the second PvP but thatâs no different to how it is now.
If your main argument is that other players would get rewards which some would miss out on, thatâs a shame, because for many of us, itâs always been the case with the Epic PvE grind.
It happens with PvE all the time. I barely get rewards because I donât have the time/ enjoy PvE, but it is what it is. I donât complain because other people get rewards I donât.
I imagine these people find time to do the 5 daily PvP matches though . Replace that reward system for the second PvP. That way we wonât get 1 monster matches so fixes two problems.
I donât think you have to lose sleep to play PvP anymore. Itâs a bit of a grind, but you can get 9 hours and not lose tickets.
And Personally I still believe creativity would be increased so I agree to disagree there. I think players would mix it up a bit more if it was more regular
Thatâs a bit uncalled for why would I intentionally misinterpret you
Sorry. Gut instinct these days
Yes, but it would happen at 2.5x the rate
How is that your gut instinct? Have I done something to upset you?
Not you
I think if rewards were the same, and it ultimately boils down to people donât want more ranked, because they donât want others to get rewards for their time, I think thatâs a disappointing mindset. As I said, for many of us, it has always been the case for PvE.
I suppose. As a PvEer myself, Iâll be fine either way
I donât know how you guys do it IC and DC are the worst
UC is pretty good though
The predictability of the cpu allows you to use some really fun and quirky strats(like Haniwel health economy or intentional ai manipulation)
As for IC, I just like how you need to roll with the punches and build strategies with limited choices and without knowing what myths and legendaries you will get later on.
And yes, UC is a ton of fun
Haniwel health economy sounds like the name of some strat that originated during the hunter island or dragon island blue days
