I don’t understand what makes you think you should be able to compete with someone who has tons of legendaries if you have none? Whether it was luck, or his pocketbook, he has an advantage. He shouldnt have to forgo that advantage because you didnt spend, youre unlucky or didnt reroll. It is literally only your fault if you don’t reroll for a legendary. Moreover, there’s always going to be a significant jump from top 100 to top 50 and to top 10. I just don’t see what the big deal is, a vast majority of games follow a format similar to this.
No, I don’t actually. I use him mid team as people don’t plan for it most of the time. It also ruins assisted water because of dark type.
Yes, I rerolled when I was level 65. Best decision I made. Especially since there was a ton of free gems out at that point. It should only take a day or two to get a legendary on a reroll with what’s out there right now.
ah i see. forgot that u run a water frontline. are u the guy who runs warcra with a sleepbomber?
the reason i asked u that question is because i have the feeling that most of the twinkiller targets appear to be in the enemies frontline therefore i thought about using him in my frontline. but thx for the reply!
I don’t think I can hence why I have requested they divide up tier 1 or at least give the option to field a team under cost requirements in a lower tier. It’s no fun getting brutalised by assisted/death roulette/twinkiller/sweeper/autopoison/teamturn teams when you don’t have one legendary. I wasn’t contemplating ragequitting but there’s really no point playing PvP in tier 1 with no legends. IMO at least tier 1 should be split in 3-4. I won’t complete anything else (that has the risk of gaining XP thus upping rank) until I know what’s happening as PvP seems to be offering the most fun (having completed all online missions and main+postgame chapters). If it’s going to be the same as PvP 1 and 2. I’ll keep my account purely for PvP purposes at level 65 and start another account on my iPad (only playing at the moment with Sony Z Android). If they had Tier 1A say 91-100 (next PvP event) and I made it to rank 91 then obviously I would be competing with teams who would be at the highest rankings (and if I didn’t have a legendary or two I would be truly done for) but getting to level 65 then being thrown in with the big boys with 5+ legendaries hardly seems fair, the devs may not care about fairness but there are probably others who would be so disgruntled they would throw in the towel. Same as the roll odds, noticed on the other thread some posters have been so annoyed with being spammed by epics that they are vowing against ever buying gems again. Maybe raising legendary odds to 10% isn’t feasible but 6-8% seems reasonable. If that were the case I would probably have 2-3 legends by now
6% is festival odds
I dont do sleep bomb. i do seahowl-Cryogolem-yeti-warca into gearcroc-blitzdragon.
The problem with frontlining him is that people plan for twinkillers when building with sleep. If you put it later in the team then he often gets free food for bloodthirst.
I’ve heard odds bandied about before are around 2-3% I know festival odds are said to me more that’s why I spend my gems on them. Is there a thread where you can find these stats?
I think you’re missing the point here, yet again. There is no reason you should be able to compete with someone who pays in a pay to win game, unless you have insane luck. If the game has the ability to let someone get better by spending money, they should be given the advantage that they are paying for. Why should you be able to get the same rewards as someone who spent $1000? You shouldn’t, because if you do then there is no incentive to spend to get better. Just dumbfounded you’re complaining about not being able to compete against spenders. Literally just blows my mind…
Buckingham did an experiment on special eggs and he got a legend rate of 1.67%. Round this to 2% because of other input from people.
Festivals have a ratio of legend slots to total slots that gives 6%. You can go count.
He isn’t saying that he wants to be able to compete with spenders, he is saying that he doesn’t want to be forced into fighting spenders because he doesn’t feel like he even has a chance. So he is saying that they should split up the highest tier into chunks that he can be competitive in.
You sir, if you have something to say next time, just keep it for you.
If you dont like this game then dont play it you dumb moron!
There was NO other game that kept me playing it for such a long time like neo monsters! And other games are grabing much more money… i played games where you played weeks and in the end to finish the game you had to purchase. Not in this game. I spent 20€ because this game deserves it!
I love it, that i dont need to spent to much money to be good.
And nope! Festival eggs have a much higher chance… i rolled 7 times. Got out 1 legendary 4 super epic and 2 epics!
You dont deserve good eggs, because morons dont deserve good things
Agree with all of this except for 1 thing- insulting people is not productive even if they are acting a certain way. Just makes people unwilling to listen.
Just saying
Guess I really don’t see what the difference is… if you want tip tier rewards, you should have to beat the top tier people. Simple concept. Lol
If somebody cares enough to post about how they are never spending money again they will likely spend money again.
As for making the game fair, life is not fair. The pvp events are going to be biased towards top tier players because they are top tier players and likely have more skill and legendaries. Everybody starts at the same point in this game and they either get better or quit. There are plenty of other events that newer and lower tier players can be competitive in though such as the tower tournaments.
I agree. I mean as far as I remember you can get top 700 and still get the event exclusive monster? The top players get a +9 or +6 or whatever but still it’s great for mid level players. Let pvp be the fight for the top of the food chain basically
Thank you for your opinion! I just guess you didn’t play Dragon Island Blue and Hunter Island. That’s the only possible reason you argument like that.
I, in contrast to you, am not going to offend you, instead I just want to make my opinion clear:
In DIB and HI there was a negligible number of bugs and even if there was bugs it was okay because it didn’t influenced on the game that much. In HI even PvP did work great…
This game my dear sir is full of countless bugs (I only can talk for the German version) and you can not build a team as easy as I’m HI since you can not influence which monsters you will get. I like this idea because the teams are not the same as in the previous games, but to have a team you like you’ve got to spend an enormous amount of money (ask the guys who already spend more than $1000) and still don’t have all monsters that are available since today.
So my opinion is based on the previous knowledge that THESE DEVS can make a much greater job than they are doing atm and that I usually absolutely don’t play mobile games.
That I usually don’t play mobile games except Dragon Island Blue, Hunter Island and Neo Monsters is a compliment to the debts and if they want me to spend they better change the odds to a fair system because DIB and HI was fair af.
And I of course know what you mean by coming far without spending since I didn’t spend and am at rank 100 with 3 legendaries, there are just to many things that made me angry like the lack of a SECOND TRANSFER PHASE.
Damn liers
You are probably correct about them spending money again because they are probably hooked but I’m sure the last thing devs want to do is alienate players who are spending more and more. I used fair in a sense that when you go into battle you aren’t going to be swamped and mass defeated by opponents every single time because you are placed in a tier based on a certain ranking when your best monsters aren’t capable of taking down one quarter of teams you are pitted against. I don’t mean fair as in rewards or prizes, it’s simply no fun for a player in my position going on PvP when players I’m being matched against are far superior. They have tried to address this with a tiered system but Tier 1 is bloated and covers a wide difference in players (from ranks 66 to 100).
Yeah dungeon/level event exclusives are pretty fun and they generally have a good reward distribution model but PvP is entirely different. I agree that those at the top tier should fight it out to prove who’s best but I know my team is nowhere near competitive. I think rewards should still be based on tiers but maybe they should have tier rankings and global rankings. Global rankings would incorporate all the tiers and the benefit in Tier 1A (91-100 just an example) is that your reward mon might have +1 +3 etc. or a special badge unlike lower tiers who would still have the event mons for finishing with a competitive score/rank in their tier. Of course the top ranked players in tier 2 (maybe globally ranked 5,000 for instance) get event mons and would probably be beaten the lowest ranked players in tier 1 (ranked 4,999) who don’t get event mons but there does need to be some tier division to encourage those on low ranks to have a go at PvP (event mon incentive) as well as make it fair (could you imagine a costed team of 20 going against one of 170 full of legendaries?). There is not enough division at the moment as players with 66 ranking are being lumped in with 100 ranking players. If players at rank 66 feel they can compete with teams ranked 90s-100 then maybe they can opt to challenge up but at the moment teams ranked 66-70-80 have no choice but to battle teams much stronger if they want to join in the fun of PvP as they are auto-matched in the same tier. Leaving players out in the cold by PvP. I don’t mind being a weaker team with even a 10% chance of winning against Tier 1 opponents but I don’t have even a 2% chance with the mons and cost allocation I have. I don’t mind not really having a shot at event mons I just want to have fun with PvP and a somewhat even fight. Again having finished missions/chapters (like most of you) PvP is the one thing on the horizon (aside from added missions/chapters) that’s exciting about this game (I know others are much more exciting about upcoming legendaries but I enjoy battling and am not much of a completist/collector although I like rolling new mons). I do like other events but they are not as exciting as PvP so I have had to sacrifice participating in rank up, omegamid, coins challenges as they will all increase my XP thus my ranking thus my place in PvP. If they divided up tier 1 I wouldn’t fear ranking up to 66, 67, 68 etc. as I would be matched with more even opponents. But right now I’ve made the decision to stop playing awaiting how the next PvP is structured.
Apologies to dredge up a thread from a couple of months ago (it isn’t complete necro) but I’m glad they brought in this Island Challenge as it gives a chance for all of us to engage in strats and tactics on a somewhat even playing field. As I have no legends I can’t complete most of the harder online missions (upper level dungeons or further levels in events like Harbinger of Eternal Slumber) or compete with Tier 1 players in PvP.
