So, what are your thoughts about that? Cost Limit of 100 is interesting, new players have better chances now since the old players can’t throw a bunch of legendaries in, only if they kept alot unevolved.
My current PvP team has a cost of 157, so I will definitely have to rebuild that
I’m curious to see, what kind of teams people will build.
So, 100 Cost Limit - good or bad, what do you think? I think it’s interesting

I think it’ll be a 10 mons pvp. Shorter teams, shorter matches.
Devs should have added another rule with requiring 16 monsters in a team so that this wont turn out to be a battle of frontline. And with this it’ll be much more challenging because everyone will be forced to use all monsters variety to set a team cost of 100.
It’s much harder to setup a team under this condition then I thought it would be, I guess I don’t have the right mons for this conditions since I’m more of a mid game guy but this is going to be decided in the front and i think something like cannibalize, bane enters, Midas does what Midas can best, bane kills two, abysraider kills four and the games nearly over

I think it will be better for sure, since new player will face less powerful opponent and it makes this PvP more challenging.
I can’t wait to plsy

Putting that rule will make some good Mon banned from this battles.so I don’t agree with you.we don’t need a full team for each player, only a team with logical strategy, but it should be interesting if the Devs creat a challenge like this PvP (100team cost) and a BIG rule, only one element in each team.
I remember a team in off story (dont remember the exact league but it was based on fire).I think this event will be more challenging, and we can capture Mon from island on the game.
What do you think guys?

I agree. A 16 monster team would have an average of 6.25 cost per monster. If you use even one legendary, the average cost of the rest of your team would be under 6. At that point, you’re looking at essentially island challenge teams throughout.
This is interesting. It’s like building the entire team solely to support one strong hard to kill sweeper, I think, it’s just a matter of choosing which one. Revenarchion would be hard to kill, Penguinator would be troublesome, etc. Death stun revenge monsters, high speed monsters and give turners are nice to have. Poison and stun would also be the easiest to set up, back to the old days.
You use penguinator correctly getting a move before death and he takes out at least 40% of the opposing team. Unless said team has multiple epic mons then it could only take out 33% of the opposing team.
Also, pvp has moved from a United States republican political theory, to an Egalitarianism politcal theory. Those of us that were brand loyal and quite frankly birthed this fantistic gem of ever changing strategic paradigm, must now be humble and allow the new kids on the block a fair fight, which is ridiculous. Fights by there nature aren’t fair nor should they be if you don’t like losing. Show me someone that offers a hand shake and says let’s have a fair fight, and I’ll show you loser of said fight. The ones that use ever capability to their advantage and willing to do what the other persson can’t or won’t will win. Fighters that desire fairness and no trickery are the more pamoered and expecttant/doted on folk( generalizing, I’m not pretentious enough to say people of less economic means will win every time). In saying that, I grew up up onpowdered milk and was always excited when the people with fancy clothes and nice cars brought us our Christmas presents on Christmas Day every year and I never lost a fight in my life. I believed fights were a struggle, in any struggle you use whatever tools or tricks to overcome that struggle. In the players that have the longevity, at a minimum more hours with less starting opportunities and slower build times are our tricks. Some have more natural gifts with strats and do unexpected moves, but as an average the players that were here at the Big Bang of neo monsters spent more time and energy here and earned our higher team points. Now that we are the aged, we are being told to move aside for the next gen, but I won’t go without resisting this new regime and fighting against their Marxist state! I’m just kidding, I’m a democrat and believe those with more should help those that have less. Helping people and seeing their thanks is honestly a great thing to witness. Helping kids that don’t understand why the other kids have nicer things just so they can feel more confident or more comfortable is something everyone should try once. If you do seeing their unhindered happiness will become your drug of choice, it’s more addicting than heroin, and less likely to end with you dieing with a needle in your arm in a gas station bathroom, or what I like to call a win win and the double deuce.
