I would consider myself a novice player, closing in on 3 months playing the game. I can not remember even encountering sleep or OoO a lot, much less be destroyed by it. If anything, it feels underused in my experience so far.
And that goes the other way as well: I have Omniblade and Stratusstrike and use them very little. Might be due to them not fitting very well into the rest of my team yet, but honestly what I recall most from trying it was that it very often backfired, leaving me against the very single monster that would crush my OoO-monster or, even better, the one monster with purify, leaving me in a 1v4.
Its tanky,has camouflage, can instantly turn the batlle into 3vs4 with instant link sleep and it will sleep another one once you kill it , iff you dont kill it you will be in a really bad situation very fast, it has no restrictions so it can impact the batlle once he gets a turn doing sleep + transciend bash( just kill no restrictiobs at all), give shield or give turn. It is supose to be a support monster but it turns out a sweeper iff needed he offers a litlle too much

vizgazird can’t make you sweep an entire team. On the other hand, Oniblade can put you all to sleep and kill you 8 monsters in a row, along with bunkerbest or tlugh …
Building arround it’s link it’s really tricky and unless you have a massive collection it’s not very effective. Vig it’s a very powerful monster i reckon but not broken there’s a lot of other stuff that need serious look at much more than Vig. And noy with so many Shiny foxs arround i really don’t understand how can be Vig any trouble…
you make me laugh … “Vig” has 40% speed and needs his teammates to be lightning type to use Link hypnotize and barely leave 3vs4 … And you compare that with Oniblade or Straus who leave you 4 vs 1 (since the who uses oniblade does it with partners immune to sleep … on the other hand, the rival is doubtful that he has many insomnia in the FL) and also with speeds of 83% and 87% … they leave you 4 vs 1 and you compare it with vigzaird. . it is funny
Oniblade was the first limited legendary ever if I’m not mistaken, (either him or aegis) which means that a large portion of F2P players have him just based on how many chances they’ve had to get him compared to other things
If we were to take a poll of every F2P player that has ever existed to see which limited legendaries they have, there is an extreme mathematic likelihood that Oniblade is the one that comes out as one of the if not the most common solely based on the fact he’s been around the longest.
