[POLL] Friend Requests

Polls are fun, so I decided to make a poll about the recent change in the friend request system.

For me, my rule till now was, never reject any friend request, to also give new players a chance. To archive this goal, I followed this schematic, delete friends that are offline 2+ days + be less than hero rank 200. Also exclude known and long term friends. That time, about 2 month ago, I was up to about hero rank 212, I got 1-2 friend requests every day. Then for a month+, I didn’t get any friend requests at all anymore, until the update a few days ago was released and now I get about 30+ requests every day. This breaks my schematic, since the limitation queue is 50 and there are just too many requests to wait till current friends get inactive.

I also realized that before, since we have 4 accounts, specific friend suggestions were permanently at one account and never on another and vice versa. So I know that a change in the system was required and now it was finally fixed.

Its not easy to find the right poll entries to satisfy everybody, please post below if your option is not in the list. The poll is multiple choice.

Now I like to ask you, how do you handle your friends and friends requests?

  • I delete friends after a specific inactivity time
  • I only keep friends I know in person
  • I don’t have any friends
  • I reject all friend requests
  • I accept all friend requests
  • I accept friend requests above a specific hero rank
  • I accept friend requests sharing a specific friend monster
  • I accept friend requests sharing a specific icon
  • I accept friend requests from specific clans
  • I accept friend requests from players that recently played
  • I accept friend requests from players with a specific name style
  • I use another schematic, please post below

I don’t have any friends on the game. (Waiting for someone to make a joke out of that). The benefits outweigh the downsides though

I keep 1 off my friends limit (98?), accepting people HR 200+ by deleting anyone who’s been inactive more than about a month (sometimes two weeks, but not below). Usually I’m more picky though, only accepting someone HR 200+ who I also recognise (either from the community or in-game).

I think I’ve only got a couple of people below HR 200 (clan members). I’ve accumulated a nice stack of active veterans.

I struggle to choose the friends I should remove from the list, because some of them are just taking a break from the game. By the way, the only friend in my list that I’m sure that won’t be back is my alt (I lost its restore code :pensive:).

I try to make a point to add new players and often delete high rank friends with a couple exceptions. I share either Aurodragon or Tenebris, both of which are exceptional in PvE modes and can do a great deal to help those with limited collections.

I only accept requests from people i have been interacting with previously in the community

No limits on hr or anything

This comes from me sharing exo currently with has started giving me a tendency to recive about 30-40 requests a day. And i just cant be bothered fine picking from the list everyday

Guess I’ll do the same… Some newcomers could benefit from Kuraokami, I guess.

I accept friend request from:

  • DMG players (PRIORITY).
  • Players I know or I have conversation with.
  • Players which I have a sympathy for.

I delete requests from

  • TOXIC players.
  • Players I don’t know.
  • Players that have deleted me previously.

I delete a friend from the list for

  • Inactivity (This varies situation to situation)
  • Player acts TOXIC
  • DMG player have left DMG (make space for new DMG members)

For me: I accept low HR players if they have a decent share monster that is fully evolved. Those people are the most likely to continue for a while. Anything that’s unevolved, I decline. Sometimes I’ve accepted chads who share Seaspine or other sub epic monsters because I found it funny.

I delete people who have been inactive for over 10 days if it’s someone I don’t know from the forum. I usually keep the people who I know from here even if they have over 30 inactive days or HR 200+ because they might come back.

I probably shouldn’t elaborate on this

-I constantly add @Herr_Loki so I can unfriend him, prob once or twice a week.

-I add players with hilarious IGNs

-I don’t add any DMG members because they use the friends list to avoid certain players during ranked PvP

Mr. avoiding players.
Let’s decide when to play our match instead of talkin’ plain bull$hit (oh wait, that’s the only thing you know to do).
