I was wondering if other monsters + 9 besides the trial ones. If so how can you tell.

If you were asking if you can +9 other monsters, then yes. thats what epic, Super epic and legendary potions are for. Only monsters that cant be +9 are 0-3 stars

You can get potions in events and getting a duplicate while your monster was +9. if not it will add +1 to the monster you got dupe of
