First 1000 was purchased

Ended up getting
1 ssr weapon

I vote yes going back to the guarantee

I understand how the math works out @Killerdog and @Zardecil as far as the benefit to the current system works

But you also have to consider this from the point of view of the consumer. When it comes to getting people to spend their money on something, perception is reality. For the purposes of Neo, It seems pretty clear that the majority of players want guaranteed legends, the increased mathematical probability of getting a legend in the current system doesn’t matter. The goal here is to get people to spend more.

Since, the survival of the game is at stake here, it should be noted that this is a topic where the paying players opinions matter substantially more than the F2P ones.

Also considering that there is now another game of a similar style competing for the same fan base in this forum, it is the smart business decision to go back to guaranteed packs if that’s what the people want.

That being said, I have not seen the revenue data between when legends were guaranteed and now, but if you would like to pm me that, I’d be happy to analyze it for you @Dev_VKC @Dev_BRD @MikeDev @SeanDeverino

From what I read of previous threads about this there was a larger number of players voting for the new system and I am pretty sure this new system gets more people rolling because they feel like they might get lucky in 1-3 packs rather than relying on the 6th pack and hoping it gives them the featured monster they want.

A pity timer can work like a 6th pack guaranteed, but a weaker one. Did you read through my pity timer idea in my suggestion thread? It basically helps people avoid getting too unlucky with both the featured monsters and legendaries in general.
