The targeted market is highly bounded to the specific countries.
While japanese and korean players love to spend massive amounts of money into gatcha ingame purchases, and also a high percentage of the playing players are paying customers, this wonāt work in countries like, letās say germany, where the majority of the playing players are not willing to pay at all, and if they pay, they almost exclusively buy price/value products. Then go to most south east asian, african, or south american countries, most people are not even able to have a payment option.
I agree with Killerdog on how he discribed the companies situation and point of view.
And the fact that a company will always adjust to a specific market and trying to maximize the profit or ensure their jobs and income, thatās understandable. In the view on ZigZaGame, they are highly outsourcing the games contents, which all have to be paid to the contractors, from monster design, waifu design, social media commercialization, translations, maps, dungeons,ā¦
Some say that the game needs the P2W players to ensure the games development. Thatās definitely true with the current system. On the other hand you need all the F2P players too, else the game will rank very low. They are the same important. And through F2P players recommendations, P2W players will connect to the game. I know precisely that 3 of my friends are paying customers, while they play the game because of me, and Iām F2P.
Try to imagine how the game could be, when it would be a complete finished game. With pre set and balanced monsters and without updates? Then the company would sell it under a different payment system, because no powercreep = no P2W in the current style. Then the game would just need pure skill.
Sometimes facts are also not own opinions. Please be reminded of that. Often somebody describes the system and the facts, but that doesnāt necessarily has to be his own opinion.
Take care my friends.
