The supporting monsters also get a high place in the ranking and also protecters, so it’s not based on the individual skills but on his support to a team.
For example take serapheon, he is very high rated in the legendary list. And guess which monsters are the highest in the super epic list?
Stunning entrance/heal all and Protect/stun absorber.
So with the update dolph is pretty amazing. I assume twin summon will put two rockroids at the end of the line up. Then a non +'d dolphin will be able to setup a time strike on his own. With enough fodder he can also stun lock a whole team since the first monster stunned will just be getting back to 0 when he gets back to that one.
Will have to test but I think he will be on par with bahamuzar at that point.
Soul stealer is still probably one of the weaker legends by comparison, but he will take 2 sleep killers to deal with and the enemy will have 80 less seconds to do so. Behind an aegis dragon this could be pretty tough to deal with. I would put him at about the same level as loch and shadow hunter.
Thoughts?
What does the tier list look like with the rebalencing?
Dolphoenix actually looks useful now.
I was just about to say the same thing. Now that he’s useful, I have to try to fit him into my lineup somehow
Lots of changes!
So firstly bloodthirst was heavily buffed to be on par with blood fury. Instead of moving the bloodthirst monsters up I actually think rexo should move down, as his guaranteed sweeper status is no longer unique.
Dolphin is now not only viable but actually powerful. It doesn’t sweep that well but as a stunning legend I think it’s categorically better than the stunning entrance ones. Hence I think it should be moved up to probably around A or A+.
Soulstealer’ buff is actually significant because now you can not only actually get death sentence off but also you can spam sleep all without fear of timestrikes. I haven’t used him but I feel he’s similar to bahamuzar now, powerful but needs a little support to be fully effective
TLDR rexo to A+, dolphin to A, soulstealer to B.
Agree or no?
I think that is sound logic, however rexo is still unique in that he only needs one kill to start sweeping. I think the new placement of dolph and soul stealer is good but I still think rexo warrants his tier.
Agree on Rexo, he is taken out pretty easily anyway.
Dolph should move up, I think B+ as he has protect killer and timestrike but can only stun 2 monsters without set up unless you have extra fodder in your line up.
Soulstealer is better but not sure if they increased odds of his sleep all. If not then he is still pretty vulnerable as sleep all rarely puts the right monster to sleep.
Really significant bluff on Dolph, not only he won’t be the very worst legendary anymore, but he might actually be more than decent even if not super great. Good change.
UPDATE: Rexo moved to A+, dolphin moved to A, Soulstealer moved to B.
Also once pvp has been out for a bit I will probably do a seperate pvp tier list, again it will be in this thread so any info will be appreciated
Why does Rexo get moved down when nothing specific to him has changed?
You cite bloodthirst, but the other blood thirst monsters haven’t moved? Other moms getting better doesn’t really make Rexo worse? Does it?
I love soulstealer, the 320sec till death all to activate is extremely significant, as now i just need a one-on-oner to go after him and when everybody awakes, they all die
but still he needs heavy setup, I suggest C+, he is now the weakest legend alone. Also if he is the weakest he should be D
What made rexo so good was his superiority to bloodthirst, being basically the premium sweeper in the game. He’s still really good, it’s just that he doesn’t have a unique spot anymore.
It’s a weird change I know, I’ll put him back up there if the general consensus is that he belongs there
If they have made blood thirst the same I’d say they have made a big problem. I can’t personally check it numbers wise.
Still, Rexo is still Has pretty much max level damage after one kill and one kill is practically guaranteed.
The also made changes to sudden death so I imagine it’s either the user can’t be killed, or the chances of a team mate dying are less , which surely helps him?
We’re there actually complaints about blood thirst?
Hadn’t heard about the sudden death changes, but bloodthirst’s boost hasn’t been out long enough to get a feel for it. It does outclass bloodcrave by a lot now though.
if he provides a four monster kill move that can garantueed or used by his teammates that means he’s great at assisting the team which means his value goes up ![]()
It says In the update it’s been changed but not specifically what.
Previously
Blood thirst - no kill - still did reasonable damage from a legendary- incrementally increases after each kill
Blood crave - no kill did nothing( effectively) - after 1 kill was potent but damage came back.
Blood fury - no kill did nothing( effectively) - after 1 kill was highly potent.
Personally this was reasonably balanced before. Again who complained about it?
If blood thirst is really that much improved kami and Necro should probably move up.
Changes to bloodthirst are good It used to take 4-5 kills for bloodthirst powerful enough to one hit someone, which is almost impossible unless you had ultimadragon. Now at least the sleep & death sentence super epics might be used in peoples teams. Might see them go up the tier list as people trial them.
Soul Stealer seems to have become great to build a team around too… Would be tempted to move him up.
Kami and Necro would take 2-3 kills depending on the opponent, to 1 shot them. of the is the case is really unbalances Rexo (blood fury)
They should probably have different set ups for pvp and over really.
The sleep/bloodthirst monsters should be moved up too.
Yep I think so too.
