OLD Tier List

I don’t think Penguinator is S+ either, but I can very well see him being S. Moku, on the other hand, between being the best closer in the game and also being very good in Inspire front lines (albeit very risky), I think deserves the top spot.

I agree on Arboribratus, but as you said it completely depends on poison. Poison, while having some S tier monsters (one of which can’t be used with Arboribratus because of RAW), is not an S tier strategy. As I said, look past poison and you’ll have something better for everything he tries to do.

Placing him is hard though. I mean you have Atlantyrant and Canishogun in the same tier, and while he’s clearly better than the former, he’s miles away from the latter. I wanna say A, but again: why is Canishogun not S+ exactly? Give him cannibalize and Hundinoid, and he’s a top tier strategy with few flaws and insultingly low team cost.

Talking Oakthulhu, didn’t you just say how easy it is to kill Penguinator before it gets a turn? Wouldn’t the same argument apply to Oakthulhu? I mean Penguinator dies before the 1st turn more often than Oakthulhu I’m guessing, but that’s because he’s simply a more important target, which should go in favor of the monster not against.

Plus remember that Oakthulhu just can deal with camuflage even less so than Penguinator, since the latter can at least kill non steathed monsters as long as they have a kill among them. Another situation where people will let you have an Oakthulhu turn no problem is if they just purified.

Oakthulhu is just too easy to shut down, I can hardly say the same of Bloomluga, Dolphreeze (since everybody runs chrono), Infernicon and so on. And Gyomurai, which you placed a tier lower, not only is harder to shut down in a well build link water, but even shut down he won’t be dead weight.

ps: there is no way in hell that Oakthulhu is better than Scorpiogeist. This isn’t even an argument.

Im wondering why that oak poison monster so overrated ?
Lol

Oakthulhu could be S tier rather than S+ tier, but I don’t think that would do auto-poison justice and we’ve got to have some S+ monsters. Anything put in S+ tier is open to very harsh judgement and Oak is the lowest speed monster there. However, until a tanky auto-poison monster comes along with more powerful game-warping abilities I don’t see myself moving Oak lower. It does get countered but the way it warps games and helps your team clear through enemies is exceptionally powerful. It’s basically a full support monster.

Moku isn’t as good at closing as Deathgazer. The two together is brutal. However, I’m moving it up to S next update. I’m moving Canishogun too so don’t worry about that.

The S+ monsters with auto poison are Freezecobra (among the SEs at least), and arguably Scorpiogeist. I’m not sure if the speed nerf combined with low defense should put him in S, I honestly wouldn’t know.

I also belive auto poison all is a better version of auto poison, since it counters sleep too… even though it did beat me in the ■■■ in some poison mirrors and counter synergizes with Oak’s hold ground.

And regardless I wouldn’t give Oakthulhu the stop spot just to represent a powerful move, but that’s another argument all together.

Happy to see Moku and Canishogun getting the S treatment they deserve though!

Yeah that’s not a mentality I agree with either. I didn’t quite explain myself well there and can’t find the phrasing to explain better. In general, it offers very powerful things when compared to other monsters in the game.

For me Oakthulu sits easy on S tier for pvp, but S+ is a bit forced… Oak got many nerfs in last updates, and the increase of Camo monsters in the meta cut him definitely down.
That’s my opinion. S is fair at the moment. If more camo will come out he could even move to A+ or A

I hear you. I agree he could easily be S and Oak isn’t working well with camouflage about. However, I don’t like to move monsters with meta shifts unless it seems like a permanent direction the game is taking. Oakthulhu was incredibly good at tackling Dusicyon AP spam last year, as proven again in the 100 cost PvP this season. Oak shines at certain times and suffers at others, like a lot of other monsters.

Hey, i was wondering if theres anyway to see the complete tierlist? just got back into this game and to be honest I dont really know whats good anymore.
Thx for any help i get.

It’s in the OP, even though some changes are already planned.

Thanks a lot!

I KNEW SHOCKING ENTRANCE WAS DIFFERENT AFTER COMING BACK

just to clarify I was referring to kd’s post on the balance changes from august last year. When I looked at cyber I could’ve sworn the tu was different and I was right lol

Lucifelle must placed at a tier at least.
Hard to place him without proper setup in the frontline

Lucifelle is good in PvE, I’d give her a B+ in PvE because she still needs hefty support but can really shine, even as a 6★. Piercing Double Bloodthirst is by itself an amazing asset.

Can i ask something ?
Why bundam have better tier than sacrumega ?
Did i miss something ?

That’s for pve where bundam can stay in guardian mode then switch to attack right before novablast. In pvp sacrumega is higher.

He’s better in PvP too in my opinion. He’s extremely fast for a piercing monster.

The two are very different monsters, not sure why you’re comparing the two of them.

NMEduck said it, but the 300s novablast on Bundam is amazing in PvE. Entrance control and double repulse are strong aspects of Sacrumega’s moveset that are ideal for PvP but not so much in PvE. Both are high in both tier lists.

Musashoid is going to be such a huge pain in the a$$ next PvP. I cringe just thinking about it.
