OLD Tier List

What do folks think about Espereye? Very nice move set, including instant OW, GT, raw FS and Catapult.

A bit early to judge, but here are my first thoughts on the new legend. (Sacrumega)

At a glance, it appears to be a solid sweeper, boasting a high attack stat and Power Slash (kinda like Scyberithe’s initial form, but apparently it had too much sweeping power for a mythic and was downgraded to the lame Zealous Attack.), as well as RAW Bloodthirst to bypass any pesky protectors. It’s Backbite is a weaker, but multi-use Cannibalize, clearing off any dead weight and healing the user to make full use of Harden Carapace, which requires a high amount of HP to function. It’s secret skill is rather impressive, being able to kill an enemy sweeper and add it to your team for further use. However, Double Repulse seems like an odd choice on a monster that doesn’t benefit too much from it, despite how undoubtedly useful the move is. My main issue is that the monster is incredibly slow, giving the opponent ample opportunity to deal with it efficiently, holding back what could’ve been an otherwise handy sweeper. I’ll have to play around a bit more with it and get some input from other players before reaching a final conclusion.

His speed very low and no stun immu

Is that less significant due to Automatic Overwatch as one of his passives? His other passive is quite meh.

It’s a slightly slower Backstab (60 → 70) that fully heals the user, compared to Geomagnus. In fact, this monster is an alternative version of Geomagnus in many ways. I think you’ve focused a bit too much on the low speed of the monster which is annoying but given its incredible ability to tank and double repulse that keeps it far more balanced than it would be at high speed.

Geomagnus has excellent entrance control with good speed (56%) and stun immunity. Sacrumega cannot save the team from stun in quite the same way and is not charged after one Backbite but it makes up for that (partially) with its incredible defence + health + HG + healing. It’s always hard to judge monsters that are tanky as to whether that will matter enough and its lack of damage potential until it has done at least one Backbite is very noticeable so overall it’s hard to know if this monster is great or just decent. Double Repulse is always a strong move and if you can get the play pattern of the first two moves being Double Repulse and Backbite then doing the secret skill and continuing as a tanky sweeper with RAW Bloodthirst… I think that has some serious potential.

In general I’m just really happy to see another shadow monster that can tank and heal. I like the shadow monster designs in the way they do things like this.

Haha that’s partly it. Sacrumega is a monster I want to own and in this egg Brynhildr is a mythic I’m desperate to awaken (need 2 more shards) but it’s a ā€œspecial eggā€ (not festival) and I’m a bit unsure about the strength of Sacrumega.

If Sacrumega had ~40% speed and the secret skill had 100s restriction rather than 150s I would say Sacrumega is extremely good (A+, verging on S).

Let’s be real even if this was a festival you would had not rolled.

Am 1000% sure you would not spend any gems on a mythic that is not viable in second form or try awaken a non op mythic such as Brynhildr and since you already own 2/4 of the featured legendaries there is no way you would had rolled for Sacrumega even if it was guaranteed 6th pack.

I only own Novadrake out of the bunch and when it comes to Brynhildr I would not have rolled for her originally but I was desperate to hatch Nulltron and got two Bryn copies. Brynhildr has a fun design, one that is EXACTLY what I like to play around with (one of my favourites is Aurodragon). I would love to have her awakened. Sacrumega is similarly my style of monster with the way it tanks, offers support, has good damage potential and a powerful + interesting secret skill.

Lots of things in the game I really like and there are many monsters I want to own even if they are not top tier.

Some monsters that are not my style:
Atrahasis - too combo focused, lining up the skills for the right moment causes me frustration
Malwing - low speed, low defence and the scary SS means you don’t really get to play with the moveset
Celeshine - roaring entrance in general I don’t like, but this guy takes the biscuit as ā€œhey look I get a killā€
Infernicorn - I like this but not the way people throw it into teams in the hope it’ll get 2+ kills
Canishogun - If it was 0-5* monsters and smaller boost then brilliant, but 0-4* breeds less interesting lineups and the moveset doesn’t seem the best designed with high speed + retribution and double counter strike on such a high speed monster that usually has piercing

You have an obsession with stun immunity don’t you?

Some players literally play full stun immune. That’s partly why we see the likes of Magma, Draco, Inferno over and over.

I had almost full stun immune team until yesterday.

And the fact that they have really low TU sweeping moves combined with HG and healing, they are really hard to deal with. I don’t think stun immune monsters need a nerf but dracorosa (defang in general) needs a TU increase and magmarinus which people already mentioned a great nerf that doesn’t make him totally unusable which is 50 TU cooldown restriction on the SS.

If I saw no wrong, defang is 100 TU

It is. Then Idk what else we can nerf about it…

Lionheart S+ for pve (Specifically in boss fights or in other battles with superbuffed monsters like UC)
When Lionheart dies, its mythic form copies the buffs from the monster that kills it so you automatically win if the boss kills it and it can gain large buffs in ultimate challenge which is also pretty good.

I am quite certain this is a bug and will be fixed, so it’s not something I originally included and nor will I now.

figured as much lol but it’s still pretty cool to have a 300k hp monster. Without the bug I think it’s fine where it is.

Y Ddraig Goch Should be S. He one shot everything. Stop poison. Can heal itself and is very tanky.
