I see where you’re going with that but I’m not sure if it quite fits. It will slow him down lots and he’s all about smashing the enemy over and over in quick succession. He’s a glass cannon for sure.

Sounds like the best thing to do is change its ss and give it a healing blood move. Although I still feel charging this mons is quite difficult. I don’t feel I should be just limited to using with shadow mons just so I can aoe

Ok if were tweaking nova then what it needs is assisted dusk, stun wave, raw bloodthirst, link drain survivor (I dont like time strike for this guy tbh) then blood price must either heal or add shield with purify/stealth for each kill then hold ground with ss of link attack boost all
Still want to buff null? Switch its moveset with tridrak or saintfather or even mojinator. I’m fully supporting this.
BTW, blood price description is quite confusing, will nova lose hp when it uses stun wave? If so, change that retarded passive. If not, change that retarded description.

Personally I think it would synergize well with BB and the SS makes up for the lack of protector as well as the blood price.
But seriously Moji isn’t awful anymore. Just niche.
Not the cheatcode that BB is certainly but to be fair, BB breaks the game for PvE.
I would like to revive this thread and ask how Novadrake went from being a glass cannon that wasn’t good to now being one of the best monsters? I do not understand how blood prince is benefitable at all. a monster without hold ground that basically kills itself doesn’t seem too strong to me. It should drop timestrike for a healing move. rely on assist aoe for kills until you can get Raw Bloodlust
Novadrake has Hold ground. After realease he had shiled entrance but devs changed it. Novadrake is definitely pretty good monster.

Blood Price is meant to be a means of balancing the monster’s 50TU moves.
But it fails on doing that and Novadrake remains OP. He gets way too many hits in before dying. Just spams AOE and wrecks a lot of things.
If I remember correctly Blood price was balanced at first(Not Novadrake but the passive)but they changed the design of blood price that it reduces by the remaining amount of health rather than total.
Giving it hold Ground was all that was needed but they went too far with blood price. Plus 50 TU AOE will forever be ridiculous.

Blood price is nothing for nova now, it didn’t affect it one bit.
And if not mistaken, nova is the only monster that didn’t get nerfed to its raw move, still remain 50tu.

So thats why, now i realized back several months ago when nova got his hp drained fast.
They need to balance his second wind or raw move or bring back blood price like before

even with 3 shadows in team that AOE doesn’t hit that hard. its way better to use timestrike to get kills imo. I rather go more survivability in team then just stacking the shadows for aoe damage.
