camouflage was meant to give the guy at least some kind of defense
He would be more balanced without that defence though, at least in my opinion.
There is stealthbane as a weakness.
also jag is more agressive. Jag by himself is on pair with orca but with setup. he outshines him
Sui 2nd form (legend form does better killing)
also orca has a stealthbreak. That s with weakness with him suciding alot.
True, but the amounts of strategies that can effectively counter Camouflage are not that popular, hence why I think Camouflage is a considerable buff and not that much of a weakness.
Delugazar and Jaguardian are some of the most used Frontliners over the last PvP seasons.
we have dusi also. Floc can almost kill him with the entrance. (deals alot of damage)
Honestly, I still think Padrinorca is faster. Jaguardian’s fastest attacking move is 100sec while Padrinorca can kill at 50sec. But I do agree that Jaguardian shines in Retribution strats. Just, Orca shines basically everywhere, most of all thanks to a versatile and menacing move like Slayerbane
Only Jaguardian actually, Delugazar is not that good as a FL monster
and what if orca is faster. Orca is a counter. not much he can do if he cant find i a monster to kill at the start. Jag is setup killer. (he can haze kill or retribution fl)
Not a killer weakness
Padrinorca has no chrono weakness because it’s the stun counter/converter that make Angelion and Scorpiogeist so powerful. Scorpio can decimate an enemy team if there is stun! Padrinorca can never decimate an enemy team.
I’ll add as a personal experience note… I’ve been running raw a lot these last few months and often in my matches I will attempt to protector lock opponents. Weirdly, Padrinorca isn’t actually as good as you’d think for this because his blood move is not raw. You can get one kill with instant true hit but after then you can only kill chrono and poison monsters. In the scenarios where I protector lock an opponent I usually find myself spamming his moves as non-critical attacks.
Yeah, this is just one example of an S+ monster. Dusicyon will shield your whole team, slowing down the pace they can sweep through your team. Deathgazer/Lemon/Moku can turn a losing battle into a winning one. Just look through the list of S+, S and even S- legendaries and they each have some really powerful things to offer in battles. When you look at mythics things get even more crazy. I mean how about Gorgodrake’s 50TU double sweeping or Asmodia’s 70TU sweeping that starts on a roaring entrance?
Jaguardian and Suikenshi are probably the best comparisons because all they do is sweep and they’re efficient, stun immune sweepers. However, while they look worse with the higher TU moves they are typically used behind protectors which makes them far more lethal than they look on paper.
Stealthbane is a killer move, just got a different name. Don’t be picky
But damn is he good as a counter! And even if he doesn’t find counters, he can RAW Slayerbane somebody (and that’s much more reliable if he’s not in FL)
He’s like Flocculasaurus, without an entrance, but with much more options, a Bloodmove and some extra survivability
U can play around the raw slayerbane to make sure he doesnt use it.
But again, Asmodia, Gorgodrake and Lemon are mythics: even if I don’t agree with that, it’s “reasonable” they are OP.
Plus, I think is we don’t need more monsters the likes of Novadrake or Moku.
You’re right about Protector locking, that’s something Padrinorca is not fit for. But still it can offer so much!
Exactly, then give me Camoflage on Gorgodrake and we’ll call it even.
Even so, you are gonna renounce to a charged sweeper and that’s very impactful
I thought killer moves are supposed to be 70tu
Wow, this thread blew up since I last posted.
