new event, new limitations and my team is ruined again haha

I don’t understand why monsters that were limited before are now still limited? Man this list thing sucks.

Boxjaw might get restricted soon.

Off topic, but I’m very happy about the rewards cause I use mark fl and it works 75% of the time. With the new rewards I’ll have more mark monsters.

my feelings are in your words multiplied by 10, the list sucks

I will enjoy it with fixed rules. Although that is the premise, it is a pity that restrictions will be added. Because many users are accumulating gems and hatching to use those monsters in PvP. And now, users are restricted from using them even if they finally get. I think it is necessary not only to limit and nerf, but also to strengthen some unused legendaries.

Also, from a different perspective, I think there should be a chance to get more legendary potions. This is because users need to use different monsters, which requires more legendary potions. Earlier in this forum, developers replied that they would have more chances to get more legendary potions, but I don’t think that’s happened…

My endgame is ruined without valza :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Off topic but I noticed that we can’t get 6star tickets in daily log in so I’m asking where is the easiest way to get it? Is it only in pvp and events?

Yep, we need this and we need it bad. The difference between a +0 and a +9 is too big to say it doesn’t matter.

Agree as well. Excellent observation

What’s the purpose of hatching nowadays  you can’t use all of them anyways.

I agree legendaries potion needs to be more frequently available and also the restriction list should always last for 1 season and not 2.

  1. I knew Infernicorn would get shafted
  2. They un-restricted Polaboss and Raizen, nice :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
  3. They un-restricted Moku??!?! Man oh man
  4. Love this! I hope people will finally consider using some niche legendaries that they always ditched in favour of SSS tier monsters (I won’t).
  5. where da Gazer tho

Moku + gazer very low tier strat especially in this new special rule

No one is a bigger advocate for creative team
Building than me, but I worry about the players who don’t have a wealth of monsters, but happen to have a few on the restricted list and are now punished

That’s not true. Those player have their relevant match ups vs equally punished opponents on the grand scale.

Everyone can use some cool stuff that normally sits on the bench. What’s not to like?
It just needs a change of perspective, you are not losing the banned monster but gaining the chance to play different monsters.

That’s so much better than the nerf approach.

Not sure I agree because I think the list can hit people differently. Restricted monsters can impact the use of a player’s support monsters as well. I also feel it’s too big. I’ll be fine because I change my team every season anyway, but I do worry for others. The abundant lack of myths in comparison is telling.

I had 5 semi limited in my team so I guess we are building from 0

Guys if you look at the last two PvP reports then it correlates very well with the new restriction list. What they’re doing is pretty simple… they’re restricting the monsters that were most used over the last two seasons (i.e. shifting the meta).

Some of the restricted monsters over the last two seasons were STILL being most used, so they’re restricted again. To me that shows three things:

  1. People can still play with these monsters if they want to. It’s restricting, not banning.
  2. A restriction list like this is absolutely necessary to have any hope of pushing down the use of certain monsters (e.g. Padrinorca and Novadrake).
  3. The list should perhaps be a bit longer, which is what they’ve done (2 mythics (1) restricted, 5 → 6 legendaries in (1) and 6 → 8 in (2)).

The restricted monsters that weren’t used much over the last two seasons have been removed. For example, Moku and Polaboss. A lot of people went for link fire and poison end-games which is why we’ve ended up with Infernicorn, Flarevern, Ahuizard, Meatoid, Scorpiogeist and Freezecobra restricted.

I think it’s worth pointing out that despite shiny spectrefox being restricted last season and seeing an enormous amount of play they chose not to restrict it this time. They clearly listened to our feedback about not restricting the stun protection people commonly have.

Lastly, these restrictions are absolutely meant to impact the meta so naturally a lot of you will have to adapt your PvP teams to them. That’s literally what they’re designed to do.

Some really good points here , I’ll try run some new things.

I agree with more restrictions, but the problem is that we don’t have more potions to test new teams. In addition, too many restrictions will bring a lot of distance. This is especially true for players with these large collections and a small part of the collection. Obviously, how to balance is a problem.
In addition, I think the purpose of this design is good, but it should not be normalized. Many of my members hate the rules that change every season. Not everyone has the time or cost to test new teams.
This is a pvp with a good idea, but it’s a mess of ■■■■ currently in practice
