šŸ† Neo Monsters tier list (see first post) šŸ†

Better not tell you what I’m thinking, forget it anyway I don’t care about your stupid list

Sorry if what I said wound you up, that wasn’t the intention. If you want to argue your case another time then feel free, but it’s got to be convincing to make a change and you’ve got to expect some criticism coming back at you

It bothers me that you make a list and say which is better and which is worse and that the opinion/work of others doesn’t matter , although after all thanks to your ā€œlistā€ I can say that I am the current top 12 with a mythical low level in my team :stuck_out_tongue:

Other people’s opinions do matter, but not everyone’s opinion is correct. I’m glad you’re happy with your Lucifelle. I hope you can find a way to point out what I might be missing about its moveset that doesn’t involve being difficult to talk to. Btw you should say ā€œ12thā€, not ā€œtop 12ā€ā€¦ that just looks silly :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey guys i just got Astrogolem and saw his attacks and im pretty stunned. He looks incredible. Why is he only B-Tier in PvP?

He’s rather slow to make an impact like a lot of mortar units, and he also lacks the instant reload

Combined with tokens to sacrifice he’s very good, but generally he’s slow to attack. 180TU to kill one enemy isn’t winning any awards and it’s roughly 150s after he enters the battlefield before he first attacks an enemy. Mortar monsters all have this problem of taking ages until their first attack and they really need to overcome it in some way to be appealing over other monsters. Astrogolem basically HAS to be used where he can sacrifice tokens, which is quite a niche thing. It’s worth noting that B tier is the middle tier, so he’s perfectly average (it’s not an embarrassing place to be).

What is it you see as very strong about him?

U can make great combinations with him for example if u play him as ur last mon he can use the 2 rockoids that he spawns for 30s reloads and if u generally playin with mons that can spawn rockoids at the end then he is gonna be crazy good

The play pattern I’ve noticed with that is the opponent kills Astrogolem before any rockoids enter. You can see Astro coming so it’s relatively easy to bring it in and NOT any rocks so then it’s forced to use the normal load and the opponent has plenty of time to kill it or practically all the rocks (so it doesn’t have much fuel) before it gets more turns. So while I agree it’s strong in this position, I don’t think it performs super well in practice.

Where I think it works nicely is with certain monsters that create tokens. Harleking and Kuraokami are nice for that. Stunt double monsters are nice too. A personal favourite combo is with Onigeist who can repeatedly pull back a teammate with a good entrance then Astro sacrifices the Onigo to rapidly sweep and sleep the enemy team.

It’s also a good option for mortar give turn loop combos since it has stun immunity and a 50TU piercing move.

Overall, I like the potential and think if you build around it the monster can do well. However, it can be a bit clunky in practice even when you’ve gone through the effort of building around it so for me personally I don’t think it can be very high in the tier list. I may consider pushing it up one tier though.

That is, assuming he enters the field together with a Rockoid/Bronzeshell. If your opponent is smart and lets just Astrogolem enter the field, you’re forced to use Load Mortar which is a very slow option for endgame.
That is, if your opponent doesn’t outright kill it immediately.

I use it very often in endgame and the only times I can safely start sweeping with it are when the opponent accidentally lets Astrogolem enter the field together with a Rockoid (e.g. if they use Slayerbane All) or when the opponent doesn’t use Poison (Astrogolem is extremely frail and without the shield it dies with extreme ease).

I’d say Astrogolem should be paired with Novemdomina for viability outside of endgame (for example, Fastbreaker Mortar in FL is almost always a guaranteed kill)

Thx for ur opinions on that. Now ik some downsides.

which one of them should i buy i have 12 tickets and i only got AS Poseidon from that page

Have you been able to hatch it? I’d be interested to hear any personal experience you have with it. I barely ever see it used and my experience has mainly been it in 16th slot and I’ve dealt with it before it’s got going or allowed it to get a couple of kills because it will run out of rocks to sacrifice before I lose.

As for the shop I’d recommend Dusicyon if you don’t have it yet already. Hanzowolf is nice for PvE. Otherwise, I wouldn’t personally go for anything on that page because they are not shop limited (they have a chance to be featured in an egg). 6* tickets are hard to come by so I’d only go for ā€œshop onlyā€ stuff unless you are desperate for a particular monster.

I already hot Dusi and no i didnt play with Astrogolem yet but hopefully in future. I couldnt play it bc of the stupid special rule… dont have that many fire mons

this is the strongest for many, it is a defense and at the same time it is an extra monster no matter if it is good or bad, I personally use it in team finals and I have also seen other players using it because of getting a not so strong monster does not interfere with the team’s alignment and in a good case copies a moku infernicon penguin or a strong poisonous element that occasionally saves the game, it is the ideal partner for cani at the end

That’s a good point about using it in the end-game. I’ll give it a try there myself and see how it does!

We need to discuss something guys. Why is spectrefox shiny only S- in PvP? He offers stun protection for the whole fight he respawns, he kills stun mons, kills stealth mons, and he can purify all. That sounds like S+

It’s S tier, not S-.

It’s good for general purpose stun protection and easy to jam into a lot of teams. However, it’s not quite as good as the best SEs in my opinion. It can be stunned out of play or left unable to do much in quite a few scenarios. Don’t get me wrong, it’s excellent, which is why it’s S tier. Feel free to have your own opinion. I know it’s the most popular choice for stun protection.
